Cheers. so some one keept them with the guts still in , i think not .plus they have been wet .and it was raining last night, plus he is new to this so i dont think he would know how to gut one .and pups that age are more than capable of catching rabbits .mine do at 4 or 5 months . I wasn't going to reply to such nosense; but I can't help mysef!! You are honestly saying you run 16 WEEK OLD

  10. I have a little more respect for my dogs and run them on ground i see fit to run them on. Whats the point in getting them out and running them on ground like concrete and them have them laid up for months??. A dog may not pick up an injury straight away on hard ground but it will have an effect on it long term that is for sure. I saw two dogs last week that had injuries from running on hard ground, one had a broken toe and the other had broke a bone in it's foot (this was a 1st X bull greyhound). It's going to be at least 5 weeks before these dogs see anything again is it really worth putt

  12. True, But any [wild] animal dont run for 12-20 dinners. I have been out in these conditons, and prob still will do. I know you can [wait] for [ever] for right conditons, but if they do get knock or bust toe. It makes it a feckin lot harder to execept,? if you had only gone out on a better night.? And with this wind it is very tempting, pity about the feckin [moon] well the dog is fit but fox hounds do not stay at home on a hunting day just because the ground is hard ,its running on hard ground that toughen the pads and feet up , i will admit that not all dogs can do it but i only want to
  13. ,if the dog wants to go then why disapoint it ,the only time mine gets a night of is if it stays where it is ,or as my lamping buddy says , it shows me a sick note of the vet
  14. do you mean to say ,if the ground was hard ,all animals that hunt for food would starve because they would not hunt your dog will know how hard or not to run ,it is bred into them .get them out .
  15. it has not seen a bullx that can run all night ,thats for sure . lol.

    A WARNING

i learned that lesson over 30 years ago ,after a judge told me i would not be aloud make a living from the wild life of this country after being caught with 5 rabbits , i proved that b*****d wrong , the law look after those with money ,before any one else.
  19. dan most on here wont travel 20 miles to be shown things that would make them think twice or to prove a point to them ,so you got no chance of them turning up over there .
  20. you got permission ,then just turn it of when you enter and dont forget to turn it back on when you leave , then you got no problem .its not rocket science . and take your dog in there in the day light so he knows its there .
  21. what is the main problem your worried about with the fence ,
  22. no but if your dog kills one in your garden ,no one can do sod all .
  23. how long are you normally out for, when you are on foot or on the mules
