  1. 6.5 55 sauer alweather light and easy to use 2 inch groups at 100. No bipod off sticks
  2. You are correct Christian the subject has been covered on other forums But the lads here might not have seen it. But training a dog to work a line is a science and weather it is done on a lead or off it only makes a difference to who is training the dog and for what purpose. I will ask your expertise Christian as you seem to write a lot but do little. . But a dog to me has to do a dam sight more than track. But luckily most times all in needs to do is walk a hour old sent up a barely park and find my deer for me. . With regards the flurencent collars and leads i have no use for them at all.I
  3. wilf i said a tracking dog not a running dog that dose a bit of tracking
  4. Any one else use a tracking dog.
  5. I will tell you what he might have sqeeked mate but he can bloody shoot .It was a fine shot hit in the right place. Looks like i will be coming down that way at christmas to meet all you welsh lads.

  8. Christian first off most of the Abusive Pm.s have come from you and isn't it nice to keep things that disrupt a board off it. Or would you prefer to bring a board down. How much did you pay for the muntjac staking Chris any medals in them. But the best laugh was the phone call i got last night. It went something like ."Davie stu will clear the area up and then i will be giving him his marching orders!" PS Stu the section across from Andrews house that needed cleared has got bob on as a full member The wheel gose round once Stu TIC TOC
  9. You never know sailor boy when i meet you i just might
  10. Rise to waht stuart dose it upset you when like minded people go out and have a good successful weekend. This cant be youe idea of fun because of your type but there are plenty of lads out there that like to help others and encourage new lads into the sport. bEING A SAILOR HAS MAYBE TAINTED YOUR MIND A BIT. Stuart i will swap you a day on my truck tire inertube for a days deer stalking Remember that one old man. :icon_redface:
  11. We will see old man i shall shoot every thing i see on your bagged areas now thats a fact and unlike you i am good at what i do.It didnt takem me four years to get three deer shot
  12. Maybe you should have a wee word with your mate Stu he struggles to understand the standards you talk about. In fact he would be selling the stalker equivalent of the big issue if he could. Double standards. You often take the moral high ground and give mouth support to good causes to make your self look respectable .For example John Robb,s very good cause Have you or your friend really supported that great cause . NO.Just a wee gob shit!! you ARE ONLY HERE BECAUSE YOU ARE BANNED EVERYWERE ELSE .
  13. He don't have none He buys by the day.But if he did and caught some one he would be hiding behind the couch while phoning the cops. Looking some one in the eye and telling it as it is will not happen with the like of him and his gang member. . Any one with any information or contact numbers of the said troll can send them to me in confidence i have people interested in them. It is about time we got him off the net for good before he closes any more sites or disrupts new one.
  14. Dan that might be true but i know this in my area if you were to ask the landowners to keep the records they would tell you politely to go F your self. They are busy enough most of the farms land in the populated part of Scotland are small and one stalker may cover many so he is the man.If he wants to hide it for personal gain then that's tough that has been done by every one correct figures for anything deer related are very hard to find.
  15. Cut the wee fella some slack it not his fault he lives in a place were parasites rule telling tails is the norm and the crossing of a fence or boundary is worse than robbing and old granny of her life savings.
  16. My opinion on this and that's all it is that to many cooks spoil the broth. For instance i have taken out this season about 20 different stalkers who have successfully shot a deer on my ground. Some are from the very same group as my self. So who keeps the record ? me or the chap who pulls the trigger. There are quite a few out there that would quite happy collect incorrect data if it helped there cause eg to many deer. So for me it is the chap who has the stalking rights not the landowner or the chap who might get access on a few occasions.
  17. Dan i run a deer group with 20 + members and most like to keep a wee record of there outing but the BP guides referring to Official Record keeping which will be law in the near future need to be submitted. Now if every one from the group kept records of deer shot or culled on there ground . I am sure it would lead to many a double count and this would then reflect in the figures given out of deer in our area. So for me if you don't have ground or if you ponce it from others leave it to them to keep the accurate records and that way the messors will not get confused with the chaps who are the r
  18. Well i had a couple of chaps up from Wales to nice chaps who have took to deerstalking but still keep at the hunting with hounds an terriers. (SALT OF THE EARTH TYPE) First night we all sat out at separate areas we all seen deer but mine were the wrong sex one of the welsh lads saw a buck late and it was to dark the other saw 4 deer a long way off but thought it might be over the fence so watched them for a while. So the next morning a put one in a high seat and i took the other lad out. We saw a good few deer and the chap shot a nice young 6 point buck. Some times its nice to help others as t
  19. I think Stuart and Chris it is your selves that were banned many times from SD and other sites and still remain so (GREEK PHIL) Is a notorious troll that no mater what admin do of all sites seems to find his unwanted way back to abuse posters and belittle people. This is the action of a little man with what we call in Scotland weeman syndrome But i will say again and i thought the post was relevant that the keeping of records should remain with people who have there own areas of ground on which to manage deer. If you are an invited guest or if you only have a small area on which to shoot a fe
  20. Stu i think DMQ and my status with them is well known !!. No problems and all good well written portfolio,s . Tell every one why it took you 50+ stalks to get three successful clean kills to the required standard. Easy done when you have the right ground for it. Ask Roger he knows how good the ground is. That's why when i told him not to come back he spat the dummy out. .Funny how so called sensible people react when you take there sweets away. .Christian Sutton (GEEK PHIL) i see you jump on side with Stu all the time do you think it is be cause you we so small and the subject of bullying
  21. Yes mate i am sure he will if he was not already.PS he is from your kneck of the woods. Says its hard to find good stalking on your side of the country.?
  22. Well i was asked by a young chap to take him out deer stalking he had been out a few times with some large stalking agent and had no luck. We went out early and i must admit to thinking that we would not be so lucky as the rut is over and i know from past outing after the rut that the Bucks are nowhere to be seen .Well we saw 4 good bucks and the lad had three real good stalks.Taking this nice six pointer at the last gasp.
  23. Hey Stu looks like you are the king of crap mate . This is the man that slagged a AW off because he couldn't shoot deer .This si the man that took seven deer to complete his lev 2 and over 3 years. This is the chap i was told who haunched gut and shot over a boundary before finally getting it correct. Still it was never his fault this type of person you meet in life and give a wide birth. Tight with cash is certainly your thing Stu. Lets face it most of your stalking has been done in Scotland WHY? because you have begged it for free like some big rat waiting for the rubbish to be thrown out.
  24. FD how correct you are i think the English have so little lad to stalk on that they will pay large sums of money or try back handed tactics to get stalking over the border we have more than enough and our problem is keeping the English Parasites south of the wall. Christian wee man you will never understand the meaning of friends as most of the English chaps i have met have only used our good natures to back stab us for our lands .I shall now be keeping my lands for personal gain not gifting it to English wannabees. Poaching is a a way of life that even landowners understand. up here unle
  25. You see Chris people see poaching in a different way now while the greedy English want to fill the boots with game poached over a nightforce. Most of the lads i know and that's plenty certainly not the minority your would like to think they are. Just want to go out and have a bit of sport and that's what they do. A couple of rabbit a fox a deer Pheasant it makes no difference its not steeling its poaching and i am sure you will agree that the law makers and law enforcers up this way do don't waist much resource on catching these Willey fellows. May i add i have never once seen any chaps out po
