Where are you mate and how much including postage? Very interested. Jon

As above in absolutely as new condition. The rifle was made in 1979 but it really looks and shoots like it was made 30 years later. Finding a 300S in this condition doesn't happen often so if you want a piece of history that is still competitive today for 10m target shooting please contact me. High res close up pics available on request. £300 Thanks Jon

New pics added. I might have a deal but still interested in hearing from anyone with anything to offer. Jon

Here are some pictures to whet your appetite. I got the scope spec wrong, it is a Tasco 6-24x50. Jon

As above but slightly modified from original as it now has a Walther match choked barrel rather than the original shrouded barrel and is much more accurate and quiet than a standard model. The muzzle is just in front of the end of the front cylinder and the gun is only 2" longer than my AA TDR. There is a crack in the plastic stock just in front of the rear cylinder but nothing to worry about. The gun comes with Tasco 3-9x50 scope and custom silencer. I would like £450 for it or swap for another multi-shot .22 rifle. W.H.Y. Pics to follow tomorrow. Jon Old pic below with origina

New AA S410 TDR
Portland_Jon replied to silentshot1's topic in Rifle Reviews, Technical Help and Tips
I will keep mine forever, I paid £325 for it in as new condition and it fits me perfectly. It is just so accurate and come up on target so easily. I have made a new filler cap with an extended narrower section about 30mm long that I clamp my lamp onto and it's a much better place to mount a lamp than on top of the scope. It is not pellet fussy either and it my first choice when going out hunting. I'll be using it against the rats tomorrow at a local smallholding. Jon -
I have a similar problem with my Gladi8or, I have fitted a LW match barrel and now I can only use Accupell's as anything else give the same problem as you have. Try it without your silencer fitted just in case but if your gun is .177 then this unlikely to be the problem. It would be worth checking the breech for dirt or burrs and change the O-rings on your bolt. Cheers Jon

Thanks for bringing this matter to my attention. As the owner of the RFD Network I would like to point out that we have absolutely no connection to this company in any way. I will add something to the website now to warn others. Thanks again Jon

Can anyone reccomend a good lamp for my air rifle
Portland_Jon replied to ssssh1forthepot's topic in Airgun Hunting
And it is more powerful than the expensive Deben one. It would be worth buying some rechargeable CR123 batteries and charger to go with it. Jon -
Can anyone reccomend a good lamp for my air rifle
Portland_Jon replied to ssssh1forthepot's topic in Airgun Hunting
I have just bought one of these from Hong Kong and it is absolutely great. I can see bunnies at 100yds. It is very light and far more portable than a Deben lamp. It arrived in five days and it fits in a standard scope fitting lamp mount. Jon -
Ooops, forgot to tick the email notify box so will do it this time. Jon

This is a common problem with the Axsor and easy to fix. First give it a quick blast of air to clear any dust from the charging valve as this can be a problem, I had this on my Gladi8or. If that doesn't fix it then it will be the end cap O-ring. Empty the rifle of air by continuously dry firing it or leave it a few days to leak away as the cylinder needs to be completely empty of air. Remove the barrel by removing the grub screws on the breech block and the Allen screw at the muzzle. Then remove the three large Allen screws securing the end cap, these are spaced 120 degrees apart

I had an Eliminator HE .22 a few years ago and what a rifle it was. If you get one you will hate it at first as you will not be able to hit a barn door with the and it will rattle your fillings when you fire it. You will also notice that your arms and joints hurt after a few shots due to the cocking effort and fifty shots will finish you off for the day. I had to wedge the butt under my thigh to cock it and ended up with a huge bruise After a couple of weeks I found I could shoot it straight and cock it and what a tool it became when I found my accuracy, I would regularly take hares and bunnie

Jazz It is an Allen screw not a rivet, all you need is an Allen key. Jon
