  1. the land round bawtry and austerfield gets hammered by lads every year lamping and ferreting and what not.i think you might struggle to get anything,if you nock on doors you might get a different answer,go for a drive and see if you can sort owt.
  2. scissors and as for doing them yourself, working terriers is ok like you say if you dont broadcast it but spanials that are kc and stuff need a cert and someone rang me the other day who bought a pup off me last summer saying his vet was demanding to see a cert for the docking! nosy bitch, should of told her to f*ck herself! atb
  3. my last litter cost £40 docked and dew clawed.6 pups and cert to prove it.£30 a dog what the f**k?? no they cant do rottis anymore at all,my vet woant touch them.has to be a true worker and still used for work today.atvb oh vet is south yorks

  6. flash is lookin good mate, good litter that was, hows he coming on??
  7. get the odd ones that can do job (apparently) but night after night? im not convinced, there might be 1 or 2 lads that have seen the odd one but i doubt it mate, better with something that is more suited.colliex or bullx or whatever.atvb
  8. he is going to be a unit mate.atvb with him, keep us posted on how he comes along.
  9. you havnt met my dog mate, hell run the full lenght of the field to go and play with another dog hes just all play and hypo atm haha i know what you mean.my lad did that when i 1st got him but i sorted his recall out now,it funny how many people scream when they got a 25inch bullx charging towards them flat out waggin there tail and wanting to play with some unsuspecting yorkshire terrier.lol.im sure he will grow out of it mate.atb
  10. rip flint, gutted for you mate, seems daft just for a bunny,my mate lost his little bitch last september and we still say fukinhell we would of bagged up this season if we would have had her etc, hope you feel better pal.atvb
  11. i agree with the others, the lurchur is the ultimate pet! very stedy infact i couldnt think of a more generally stedy dog.this is a generalisation but they mostly just mooch at the side of you on walks even when the other dogs is running around and been daft.i got a young dog that is particually head strong but is maturing nicely and he is still steadier than any of my spanials or my dads spanials,im going on now!lol both.answer for me is companion!
  12. not into selling dogs,if i have a dog then im keeping it and if its no good then it would be passed on as a pet.
  13. All my bull crosses are tumblers too!!!!!!!!!!!!! snap mate,my bullx will often strike and flip or "tumble" over and come up with the bunny, not always but quite often!!!
  14. well done for giving him a chance mate.beyond me how people can let them get like that.walk and a bolw of food a day isnt really much to ask is it??!!your bitch looks in good nick mate.are is feet tightening up a bit now your getting him out?plenty of road work should sort them a bit.be nice to see him when he is fit and upto weight! atvb
  15. hopfully it will lead to plenty of permission for you in yeas to come!
  16. im lookin for a good half cross colie bitch to line my collie cross ,hes 7 now and still gettin better iv i line him your welcome to a pup pal for nowt hes done everythin iv asked of him and more grate offer mate!
  17. nice little bitch that mate?how many seasons she done?she down owt with red?
  18. yer dog in the pic looks strong mate.to be honest the lads i run dogs with arnt like bullx lads or anything realy,we all run different dogs, collies bulls, sals and deerhound,i like them all and would own any of them.i do like collie x thow and forgot how clever theywere untill i got bullx.my old collie has brains to burn but tierd old girl.see what decent litters come up this year
  19. and as for brains, got a saluki bull grey on at the min and bags of brain is something he hasnt got! making a decent dog and i would swap him for the world but the next dog i have will have collie init!
  20. im not trying to say owt about any other x or any of your dogs or anything like that, the bullx has earnt its place in the lurchur world and rightly so.im not bothered if its a colliex or bullx or salukix seen them all run and as long as they do what is asked of them i couldnt give a f*ck what x they are.atb
  21. see i cant entierly agree with the stamina thing because suruly when pit dogs were bread originally stamina is a key part in the ring? i dont know much about how long the old dog fights lasted all them years ago but suruly two dogs locked in combat would need the stamina to keep going? yer they aint salukis but horses for courses! atvb
  22. mate has got a bull whippet grey at 22ince which is sheit hot and taken full spectram of quarry and he also got a halfx bull grey of a similar size and build but thats only just getting started, the halfx is as small and racy as the whippet x one, spose its down to what people prefer!atb
  23. my sal/bull/grey sometimes woant retrive when there is other dogs around,he dosent want them to get the bunny off him so i walk away from other lads and kneel down on floor and let him come to me.i dont chase him because he would just run away, fine with no other dogs,he is only a pup thow so i will iron that out before next season.his retrive is always live thow, the hunting up in the lamp is a massive problem.my mate had a colliex that did it and he gave it away for a ferreting and mooching lurchur!like others have said pick squatters where dog should catch them and woant need to hunt.if not
