    the film that you seen is a real account of how it should be.it a pros view on how it is, not a way that you should do it but i would follow if unsure,, all that shit about scent etc is true. your catch rate will increase if you trapps dont smel of smells etc.. nd thats a fact,,, others on here got they own views and oppinions on such maters etc and traps can and do catch from new etc.. moley film .take advise from it and you not go far wrong compared to some of the shit others may tell you on her

    there is raft set up i use,,it dont involve wood, form,weed or anything that may even lok like a raft.. it rises and falls cost £1.50 to make and it works.had to use them here in wales wherevwater levels can rise 3 foot over nite,yet still need them grippers to work.early days yet but ive had three now in two weeks out of 8 traps.it must be set againt a over hang bank,culvert /bridge side tho. ;)

    what if they were set under bridges and in culverts ? some where,where most people wouldnt look or have accsess to.

    we all know the gct mink raft set up,but any lads on here modified it for use with body grips etc ?.. i know some have!.. any info or pics to share lads .... be nice to see others set ups

    i would say the perfect al round mole trap would have to revolve around the half barrel type myself.. your 's ok steve and so are mine lol haha.but be interesting to see what others think ? and any way you can improve them ..

    ok steve thanks for that. just thought as a leading maufacturer of mole traps, and a trapper yourselfe who said the duffers aint a perfect,, trap.etc was just looking for some input on what the best traps may be. so as you say thete others on here more qualified to judge and talk about the half barrel steve.. thanks,,,,,,,, logun

    so what would you do to the duffus then steve if it was your job to turn it from an unideal trap to a good one,a tried and tested trap..... i know.. there are big changes to be made but what would they be. what would you do to a profesional mole catchers tool to make it better

    out of interest steve,there sure to be professional mole trappers in the states as your selfe.have they ever conciderd the duffer/half barrel trap as a worth while trap or stuck with some of the traps you got there .i think when it comes o mole catching we got it sorted myselfe,thik you guys been let down with some of them monster traps you had avaiable to you in the past.

    try using a slice of bread,, they cant resist that ,white,brown wholemeal etc,, but tip is its got to be medium cut,, they dont like thin or thick

    hi lads got a fantastic hw 25 for my 9 year old son yestaday from local gun shop. fantastic bit of kit aimed for juniors but one problem, and a massive one i see it as is the trigger pull, i even find it hard to hit bull ith the pressure needed to pull the trigger.. any hints ,tips or info would be good

    hi w.i dont envey you at all,or even the like of you who need to do such things as a living.. i play at it to be honest,, trapping just a passion of mine and not something i rely on topay the bills ,feeed the family etc..i really do take my hat off tomyou and others like you... i envy the game you get etc,,rabits by the thousand when i can only manage 200 a season maybe,, stoats when i aint seen one for three years ...but different partts of the country offer different game. we got mink here,,not more than othere parts but its not to bad..fox loads and imhopig to have 200 pluss this season.. p

    september kicks off my trapping season,, dont do it as a job ,,but a hobby.. i got all my gear ready for the start,,fox and mink this year ,,hope to take large number of fox and maybe 20 to 30 mink would be good but aint sure if i get near that.. how about you lads,,, your aims and goals for the season,, what you after etc the methods and so on.interesting to see who after what etc..,,, logun.

    hi moley ,yes they ok traps to be honest.i use one or two on the out runs etc and do ok with them.but at the same time i would trust me duffers first,,, niceto see you warming upto them,,maybe you need some more sent to you. Are you flogging them ? I see killgerm sell them but thats all i can find do you know any other companys? no i dont flog them ,,i make good copies thati give away to friends only.

    you can still buy copies on line steve.i lost link know but did pass it on to otc he had one so maybe he could help with the link,,sure it was amazon uk,,not so sure now.
