To be honest they seem to come into season earlier & earlier , there season normally start when theres roughly 18 hours daylight each day so spring time, theres been some talk of it being earlier if ferrets are kept indoors & subject to un natural amounts of light, but i dont know for sure if you average light bulb has that effect or not
