Cheers kay, working on the line that they get more freedom the more they trust me, when I first got them I thought they would eat until they burst, they are responding, but slower than I expected, must have had some grief, never known fezzers to be so slow to come round, maybe they will only make half decent pets, time will tell. I still think they will be happier walking my loclal patch,softly softly is the plan, will keep you posted. If they have been somewhat conditioned to being stuck in a cage with little or no food & handling then giving them lots of freedom imo would be to mu

Best advice i was ever given donkeys yrs ago was to feed them more than they can possibly eat, dont handle for about a week just make them comfortable & stuff them with food & then start to fetch them out & handle a little bit at a time, dont give them loads of freedom ie in to the house to roam free for a while , little bit of freedom at a time, let them get used to the new smells & there new house & you wont go far wrong
