you got a photo of him like he is now not an old one ? sometimes when they loose the winter weight & shed there winter coat they can seem a little skinny, but if your overly worried then i think you need to see a vet , especially if he isnt eating, he could have a tooth problem making it uncomfortable to eat hence the weight loss

Well taking on a ferret or two is a big commitment, they can live into double figures out living some breeds of dog , theres tons you need to read up on & ask questions about, seasons etc, correct species appropriate diet , that type of thing I would use the rest of this year to do your homework & think about 12 months time to get any ferrets

just a guess so dont flame me if it isnt Go to the top of the class yup just stumbled across that site last night - all good intentioned im sure but far too opinionated- and far too many women as well atvb chris ps - i was only looking for a hob for my in season jill - looking on there there'll be no balls left soon!!!!!!!!!!! I dont fit in there because i dont sugar coat my posts , if people want sickly fluffy crap its fine, but forget ferret keeping as a whole & they forget breedings a big part of ferret keeping as is seasons, photoperiod etc

I am a member on there & what i find annoying is the comments about '' probably 500 jills bred this year'' meaning people off this site , what is forgotton is the list of folks with vasectomised hobs, the recent posts asking about jill jabs, & the posts asking about castration etc. Note none of the things i highlighted have got a mention, very short sighted some folks who only point out what they want Eddited to add It was highlighted by a moddy on there last week that if folks ask about breeding on there , they wernt to be jumped on from a great hight , looks like that on

I even got enough drainage piping to fill the underside of the cage, miles of the stuff, planing to put a court outside the two shed windows when I get rid of the crap thats slung behind there. I have a gap in the garden betweeen 2 sheds i can have a go at building a bit of summat . hopefully it will go as i am planning it If you get stuck, just ask. I will do your heads in with it but if i have a go & its rubbish at least i tried

I only ever wanted two, but now I've got seven. I know its so hard to pick just one though , maybe he wont spot 4 4! Thats not even one of every colour. not fussed what colour it is really i do love albinos though
