Had a fantastic day today been out most of it & these are a few of the days pics , the swans allowed me get within 4 foot of them , they hissed & spat a bit but i wasnt in any hurry so let them settle & then they were ok , the cygnets are very cute dont you think The butterfly is a painted lady i think, i hope i am sure Byron will put me right if its not This butterfly even posed for the camera Beautifull little things So cute Nice family pic Supprised my self with this one And this one

  3. cheers joe,do they only come into season once a year They stay in season from around feb to Late August time , they dont come in & go out like some species do

  9. All i have used is picasa its got about half dozon little things you can use to alter them , i find the more indeapth manipulation packages are far to complex
  10. To be honest i took them in colour & thought turning them black & white & just doing a small amount of focal black & white hid a multitude of sins

I planned on spending all day up this man made lake place within walking distence from me so set off & soom discovered it was to hot So i settled for the very bottom end of the lake to take some bird pics, i have neither the experience or equipment to get anything decent that isnt either static or dead So this is the best of what i took & there not particulary good but here goes getting there
  14. Use the cheapo fatty mince with bits of bone in it , the sort you wouldnt usually want to wolf down yourself

  18. I was just waiting for my electric blanket to warm up and this little moth flew on my jammas , i was wondering if anyone knows what its called , its a sort of bronze colour like metalic

  21. Usually get some teeny ones in a bigger litter there usually the fiesty ones if they make it to adulthood i love little balls of fury
  22. This is interesting as i used my cannon point & shoot to do these pics that i got back from them today as it had packed up , the last 2 weeks i have used a samsung , so i think the cameras making the difference & the fact the bee was still
  23. Snaps i had to save the origonal files & then re size them as they were huge you should see me if theres summat in the oven , impatient isnt the word
