Use a good layer of shavings on the floor to soak up the crap & shredded paper in the bedding box , kept mine like this for donkeys yrs no problems what so ever

God no i hate showers i have a good scrub & out its my lad who is responsible for the hose pipe ban never known it take anyone so long & the amount of mess he makes & towls he uses is ridiculas

Castrate him if you have absolutly no plans to use him for breeding , early neutering of males is linked to Adrenal problems when they get older it seems I have had castrates live into double figures in the past

Less of the wrinkley you why would you stir backwards , its not natural to do that dont everyone stir clockwise ? i do think round tea bags give the best results other than tea leaves though I leave it in the cup untill a scum forms on the top i love it all dark & orange sometimes i use 2 bags if its say tetleys

I wouldnt bother getting him a companion untill he is out of season , around mid August time onwards , the weight loss is likely to be because he will have shed his old coat now & the fact he is in season, he may be missing his companion as well though Hope this helps
