  2. your ferret will come into season .. unless the sheds totally enclosed with no window or anything .. in that case i would be more worried about her overheating when the temps rise a little bit

  4. never heard of half of them ... who are they
  5. It is right place right time .. never know if there about until you get there .. dont see them at this time of year usually .. but the hinds usually start to graze with there calves early summer depending when they have had them .. i saw the tips of a calves ears in the grass last may but just spotted them & left the field so it didn't spook the hind who wasnt far away
  6. You can put it in a dish if you like but theres a good chance he will scratch it out all over the cage floor or tip up the dish  I dont bother with dishes now thats what mine do
  7. If your going to feed a dry food diet then i am led to believe that vitalin is one of the premium brands .. there are others like chudleys & ferret complete. prices vary considerably depending on brand... its not advisable to feed cheap cat biscuits as they tend to be soya based protein & ferrets need a meat protein diet I am not a fan of dry food personally & use meat for mine .. whole carcass is preferable if you can get it ... some people use doc's or mince . chicken wings etc theres nothing in the rule book that sates you cant supply a little of both dry & meat
  8. if your feeding dry make sure theres plenty of water to offer him as they drink loads when fed a dry diet .. as above get a water bottle as well
  9. First royal stag i have seen up here

  21. In my case i try to get the best i can with the camera & lens which are very basic .. to be honest i use the running man setting for anything that moves quickly I think i could get better results with a quicker lens & perfect light but this lens i use isnt to bad The sheep make great subjects & some of the gormless faces they pull while watching them make me smile if nothing else
  22. Rex i love sheep i am glad someone else takes pics of them i dont feel so mental now  Great pics i love the sheep on its own & the group with the tree in the background .. very nice
