Alright mate, used a stihl 362 about 2years ago and it was a bag of crap kept cutting out when it got warm as did the other 9 we had at work.since then weve bin using husky 357xp far better quality and no problems.the stihls were about 3months old when this started to happen.husky all the way.
  3. Got bit on the hand by a springer spaniel when i tried to get it back in the kennel, varios nips and bites from a friends english bull and the same from another friends shetland collie. The last two just didnt like me. Lassie was never nice to me :11:
  4. If its on a footpath or where kids play yes,if up on a verge were no one walks or in a field no.I think any one who walks an animal in public places should clean it up. cheers
  5. Hi, I have similar problem with mine, and i'd advise you not to use a long line cos if they decide to run like mine did your either gona snap there neck your arm or the lead and i bet it wont be the lead.I found using treats or a toy seem to get him back works for me.
  6. I bit clean through my tonge when i was a kid,was held on by about 3mm ether side.all i know was my sister pushed me off a wall.also split my nose right open top to bottom, fishing hook in my finger and into the bone, small shard of metal in my eye and the docter pick it out with a needle my most recent was nearly being ko'd by a tree that kicked up after i felled it knocking off my helmet on the way up an splitting my head on the way down. Not as bad as some on here but my most memorable pains. Cheers
  7. cheers for the replies a combination of most the ideas will be started a.s.a.p.the spaniel is 20 months and she aint had a season yet.in fact she tried to mount a beagle yesterday that was.
  8. hi thanks for the replys the thing is its not just high value treats,if the spaniel picked up a peg or tennis ball or anything in the garden he has to have it.at meal times there are no problems.i'm just getting a bit concerned as the spaniel is starting to become very insecure and nervous.(not the dog i'm used to)maybe it was may mistake in bringing in a nearly full grown dog that she has no chance of being dominant over(higher in the pecking order)as she was here first. Thanks
  9. Hi all, my lurcher has developed a rather nasty habit.Today my wife gave both my dogs a raw hide chew as my lurcher is forever chewing things. the lurcher became aggresive towards my spaniel "wanting both chews" so she removed both chews from the dogs and walked out the lounge, at that moment the lurcher launched an attack on the spaniel! my wife ran in screaming at him but he didn't let up and she had to kick him to get him off, as you can imagine she was quite shaken.its not the first time but this is the worst.he always seems to want what ever the spaniels got even though he has hi
  10. search all the compare sites (confused,go compare, money supermarket and compare the meerkat, sorry market) one of them will give you the best price.i'm 30 and pay £220 fully comp with full no claims with CMA.always check the xsess payments as some put them really high.
  11. fourtraks only a group 8 insurance so only a group higher than a jimny i would rather pay the extra on insurance and have the fourtrak get some good tyres on it and you wont go far wrong.plus theres more room in the fourtrak unless you have the swb van type.
  12. heres a few of my springer Devon. The black and white dogs my dads springer Blue
  13. Fourtrak, had my k reg for 8years never had it stuck and all its cost me on mot's is 4 new tyres(bf goodridge mud terains),rear leaf springs and a new battery.i'd say thats reliable.not bad on fuel for a 2.8td.i'd take it over any landy as i had to rescue a few on the moors in the snow.its also a bit more refined than landy 90's(electric windows, proper heating).its just my opinion make of it what you will. Thanks
  14. Hi all, For the last few weeks my lurcher has been shedding alot of hair,he is not bold hes just lossing his soft outer coat to reveal a thin layer of course inch long hair.its mainly on his back and hind legs.he is kept indoors and flead/wormed etc.any ideas would be very greatfull. Thanks Chopper28 I've only had him a few months hes a rescue dog Possable saluki/collie/grey 1yr old ish.he was found wandering so it could just be his winter coat coming out.
  15. They do come out, just sqeeze the two metal arms together that are attached to the handle then push the sun roof fully open and lift it off.if you have the lwb you can remove the whole back but its a t*** of a job.i havent done it but i did look into it.cheers

  21. I'm sure a leopard cub was shot on Dartmoor in the early 's. I don't think its aload of bull. Think about it in the late 70's they introduced the dangerous animal license making it illegal to own a big cat without one. It was fasionable in the 60's & 70's to own one when the licence was introduced what happened to all the big cats.Thats right off to the nearest moor and kick it out. There is a vast amount of evidence to back up the stories everything from crap to carcasses. No i've never seen one but i'd like to.cheers
