yes was a good day out not a massive bag of rabbits but the dogs enjoyed there selves and so did i

well my mates dad has come across some new permission and asked me if i wanted to pop out this morning for a look about with his terrier and lurcher. got piked up around half 7 ish and headed straight there got there about qurter past 8 or so got the dogs out and the ferret and started to have a look about. within seconds it was clear that there was alot of rabbits about we walked the first felid and knoked one up witch my dog caught and then we had a look about with the terrier and caught a few more, then had a few more with the ferrets could of took 20 + without to much trouble but had no n

you are asking for 2 totally different dogs there make your mind up before you ask you either have the bull with a bit more power and abit more firce or a saluki with is going to a abit more speed and stamina but it depends on what you want it for me i would go with the saluki i like my rabbits

Not sure I've read this right, are you saying your thinking of Collie crosses because A, your only interested in Rabbits? Which is fare enough. A good Collie cross will do you proud on the humble bunny and B because they won't have it in them to tackle Deer. I can assure that the do have the necessary minerals to take Deer as I'm sure many on this site will testify. If you don't mind me asking why are you not considering a 1/2 bred? 1/2 breds have plenty of pace to cope with rabbits, have more stamina than 3/4 breds and are generally much tougher physically. i know were you are
