  8. them there is plodders.......prey drive ,stamina etc just what iv read on them....ideally want a dog with good feet of which they supposedly have but not wanting saluki so thought a bit of deer hound in the mix would help but as i know f**k all about them thought id ask
  9. got your feet under the table there mate haven't you,is their a Mr farmer on the scene or is she the fat type that bakes all day,you know the ones with rosey cheeks and flour up her nose ..........to be fair not surprised they keep each other in the know
  10. In my experience golf courses offer the fastest running going and if you are running that type of ground or anywhere with lots of short grass you need a very fast, light, quick turning dog and would be better off with a greyhound/whippet or similar. I'm a deerhound/greyhound owner, breeder and enthusiast but I think you are choosing the wrong tool for the job. I have given up running golf courses after killing several dogs on them, the speeds are so great that its just too dangerous for the dog for my taste. see what your saying mate but the golf courses really are only a small part of it
  11. back legs 3 inch's bigger than they supposed to be makes for better turning and it can tern seen with my own eyes ........ thought that would be the case
  12. cheers for that mate cant tell just by the pic but looks ideal for my needs,as i say don't want it to big,how big tts was that dog mate
  13. im after a new dog and want to go with a deer hound x,been reading up on them, temperament, stamina, good feet and prey drive with a good nose etc so ideally i want the dog around 25/26tts so just want some advice on what cross i should be looking at,1/4 deer hound maybe?i dont know but want to get this sort of height out of the dog, also run a few golf courses so want something a bit quick off the mark so to speak but not to worried as this is only a small percentage of the land i run,yes i know dogs of 28/29tts can still pick up the bunnies just wanting something a tad smaller really what woul
  14. back legs 3 inch's bigger than they supposed to be makes for better turning
  15. get both mate...........kindest thing to do for her in the long run and its cheeper
  16. good advice there mate, used to fish them areas years ago especially dungeness where the boils are in the water, regularly took the odd codling, although as said getting out on a boat is going to give more of a chance
  17. good luck mate, you know it makes sense
  18. mate i know how you feel i really do but i just hit blanks all over when looking for mine last month,no joy at all, like i said then, there must be groups of no good c**ts that run stolen dogs amongst themselves otherwise surely by f**k a lot more would be recovered,iv given up on mine yes soon after i know but f**k it don't look like il ever see her again anyway and i not going to let any thieving c**t put me off doing what i do.......just keep doing what your doing and hold out for a bit of good fortune hopefully
  19. That would mean that he would have to get off his arse I bet he's just some chav who has never worked a day in his life and has it all handed to him on a plate yeah that would be right, everyone that strays a little is a chav that don't work..........you couldn't be further from the truth in some cases pal
  20. at all costs i.e someone threatens your life they pay with there own exactly

  22. where you start and where you go is your own business and nobody else's...........the longer you keep it that way the less chance you got of getting hassled.........bit of respect does go a long way on your part even if you are poaching, hope that makes sense lol
