    yes i think it does work mate, my dad and granddad used to do it to move the rabbits out of big sets or sets they could not net,so that they go into smaller sets.

    they were rabbit holes we had just had 2 rabbits out of the holes next to them, and there was fresh dropings by holes. think the mink just move in to them. they were in a bank about 10 yards from a brook. think i would try and get shut of mink first. im going down with rat smoker and dogs or gun. think they should come out with smoker.

    well done mate, one of my jills meet one about 3 weeks ago, it made i right mess of her, but she ok now.

    2 small deep puncher holes on the head and sme smaller 1s round by the neck.

    nothing came out of holes rats or rabbits..but fresh rabbit droping by hole and tracks.

    went out with the ferrets to day had to come back early,,,put white jill down one of the holes of a 6 hole set and heard squealing, she came back out after about another min with blood all over her head and neck, her blood...think she my have meet a mink..2 puneture holes in top of head and two at side of her neck..going back tomorrow with smoker and gun. have gave it good wash with salt water and put some wound powder on, it just about stoped bleeding..will treat it again tomorrow..

    they cant see the decoys in the snow mate, proberly best to put a few up a tree, it is good shooting the flight lines, and when they are flying back to roost.

    I appreciate what your saying, I have only had these dogs now four three weeks since my brother in law passed, unfortunatley I don't know their history. At his funeral his friend had mentioned to me that they had occasional problems still I wasn't sure if they were always fighting with each other or if it is a result of their sudden change in environment. I'll keep trying with them ... they have great personalities and are really nice dogs.. hopefully i'll be able to renew a pecking order... if not they may have to be left to it... time will tell you can just leave them to it,,they wi

    I hear you, but we tend to cook fresh food for the dog's most days... they tend to eat what we eat.... Dont think you should be feeding them the same food we eat, that not going to help atall,,the only food my dogs have that we eat is rabbitt chicken and fresh veg,,,all the best with them.

    had the same problume with my two patterdales, i changed there food to harringtons complete, its got no artificial colours or prosevetivs or flavers,,,touch wood they been ok for last 2 month...but you must walk them every day or they get frustrated and board......get my food from asda £6.99 for 5kg...all the best.
