  7. have not a clue about cameras,so which would be the best for general snapping as cheap and easy to use as pos but takes a decent photo,would love to get some shots of the birds round the farm,so far this year i have seen tree creapers nuthatch yellow hammers spotted and green woodpeckers and the buzzards are back nesting,also we have the bird man round with his mist nets counting ringing and catalouging,im just waiting on my spotted fly catcher to make an apperance

  13. cracking looking dogs fellas,mine aint the best looking but he does the job,not sure on the percentages of his breeding either.
  14. been having a read and found this....preperation for a dog one month prior to the waterloo cup 1871 the feeding of master mcrath..for the first week well boiled horse flesh old hound meal mashed turnips and beet root. second week toasted horse flesh brown bread trotter jelly carrots or parsnips.third week fried sheeps heads,meal,brown bread a few potatoes and beetroot.fourth week toasted muttonbrown bread,trotter jelly and a few mashed parsnips every outher day.master mcgrath went on to win his third waterloo cup.
  15. No problem ,though there is not much nourishment in the lungs,some dogs like offal cooked,if yours will eat it raw ,so much the better. How have you been ? Dogs doing ok? The rain has done us a favour. all well here,had a good winter once the mixy cleard up new pup coming on well and the outher dog proving himself time and again,as for the rain we have only just been able to get back out on the farm to do some shredding .
  16. sent the old woman to the butchers and she came home with tongue wind pipe lungs and heart all in one piece from a lamb i think ,is it ok to mince it up and feed it raw as i normally get chicken carcuses but this was all he had left
