  1. A full days work given by the young lurcher whilst ferreting today, very impressed at his maturity and discipline now, a good sign of things to come. ps, 16 in the bag today.

  2. Well it depends, you can feed them biscuits and/or meat. They love tucking into a rabbit every now and then but feeding them meat all the time makes them smell alot worse. Nice ferrets btw, they're loving the milk!! Havent tried goats milk before. I find biscs make them drink a heck of alot, and their faeces smell less when fed a meat diet.
  3. Complete biscs in the summer, (due to Flies) and when the weather cools down, almost exclusively Rabbit, with some chicks/ chicken wings too.
  4. I had a great experience with them, i had a MK3m collar for 11 moths when it just stopped working, i emailed them my paypal receipt as i bought it from a tackle shop on ebay, they then replied with a ref number, then within a week of sending off my collar they sent me a brand new one, no charge!!!! Superb people to deal with in my opinion :victory:

  13. Thanks all for the replies, SOME GOOD'ISH News, I found my oldest small Jill, so here's hoping that it's a case of them getting let out rather than stolen, i'll be posting notes locally to help find them. Thanks again LD13
  14. Well, got out of work to a text from the wife, i called her and was told that when she got back in this afternoon 4 0f my 8 ferrets were gone The reason i'm thinking stolen is that it was all four coloured ferrets that are gone, the four albinos were still asleep in the bed box. The missing ferrets were 1x poley Jill, 1x poley silver mix jill, 1x large silver mix hob, 1x large sandy hob with no tail. Any information will be greatly appreciated, The garden is brick all the way round exept for a small ish gap in the corned of the gate, the wall is only 6' so it is jumpable. I am so very gutted
  15. He's just being a pup mate, positive reinforcement coupled with your determination should see you right, never end a lead training session with the pup pulling and bucking backward, if need be just start a few yards at a time, try using he favorite toy or a treat to focus on when walking, if he's really bothered by the lead, start with a really light one, purpose made puppy lead etc, and let it just wander around with it on, ideally when feeding etc, positive actions and all that There should be plenty there for you to start with buddy Persist and you will achieve
  16. As the description implies really peeps, With regards to LAMPING, i need someone with a seasoned adult lurcher with good pace and the ability to kill, not fight, to give my lurcher the confidence to strike, my bullx has plenty of ability to catch up and bowl them over, but he's not gone for a finish. He has done plenty of rabbit work and i would like him to have the opportunity to improve. This request may be a little vague, and rightly so, any enquiries would be welcome via PM. Also, not just anyone will be accepted here, please do not be offended if you don't get to come along, i'm sur
