  4. With the amount of Tape worm cysts i've come across this season, i always open up the rabbits, remove intestines and stomach and give the rest to them, if i'm freezing the rabbits first, i take their jackets off, it's easier to defrost them that way.

  7. Hi, I do not think it can be theft if the rabbits are wild and alive. This is due to 'wild' quarry not belonging to any person if it is free to travel at its own will. However, once dead the 'game' can be taken by theft as it also can if it is enclosed. This is why 'park' deer cannot be poached, their taking is classed as theft. Poaching is :the unlawfultaking or killing of game...... Theft is: the dishonest taking of property belonging to another. So, in summary it is not possible to thieve game, only poach it. This is how I understand the law to be. But I've been wrong befor

  9. not really an informed comment there fella. paedophiles and rapists don't generally make themselves as easy to catch as fellas walking around with a big torch on. if a 'crime' presents itself, then surely by their very definition they need to police the offending behaviours, whether those offences are deemed minor or otherwise Are you "The Filth" by any chance........................... If you listen to the missis she'll tell you im Filthy , other than that, no, i'm not on that payroll lol, Cheers for asking tho Artic mate

  11. No shame here fella, only criminals need to feel as such, 'honest lads' should have nothing to feel bad about.
  12. Thats an interesting view, however i don't believe the UE would ever allow such a measure. Wait until the EU bring in the same requirements in the UK as Germany. Written tests and compensating farmers for damage to crops from Boar you are paying to control. That would surely be a sad day my friend

  14. Your full of it fella, if the permission requires all lamping to be reported to the land owner and the police, then thats what happens, if your permission asked this of you i'm sure that if yiou are a respectful person then you would do it. AND AS FOR CAUSING A DIVIDE, WHAT A STUPID STATEMENT There is a clear divide already, not least in the eyes of the landowners, poaching is exactly what it says on the tin , you seem to think of the police as one mind, and one 'agenda', you couldn't be more wrong. paranoia will really mess you up unless you understand that. The comment 'And makes lads lik
  15. good for you, any advice how to get permission, i tried for 10 years, only thing i learnt is that most farmers are greeedy cxxxts, even call them sir, for them to grin and say f off. Get to know your market, in other words, find out who owns what and who knows who, and when you do ask them, it's good to remember that first impressions count, ideally don't turn up looking rough as fcuk, a local farmer who's door i knocked on some 7years ago, asked me there and then if ii could start with clearing some annoying rabbits from under his summer house in his back garden so i popped home and
  16. I live in Kent and Lamp fairly regular, i have no problems as i just inform the land owners via text, then call the police and tell them when and where i'm lamping and what vehicle i'll be in, i get a reference number, and all they want in return is a phone call to let them know when i'm done. No problems and everyone knows whats what. Simples The police don't get a choice about what they attend, they're told by the government, so lets not all be paranoid that the old bill are out to get us. Ps, i'm not a police officer, MP, Wild life officer or RSPCA representative, just a countryman who e
