  1. Good job mate, great to see the young'un getting out and enjoying himself
  2. Good to see you at it again, Out today and had a good few with cherries already
  3. Aye well i did that too, but neither of the ferrets came back out so i know they have been fed, will fetch them back in the morning! Thats twice my hob has layed up i may need muzzle the bugger lol FM A finder would be a better idea mate. Muzzles are a crap idea due to the fact you are taking away their only defence system. If they met a big rat it'd get hammered . I'd of thought that after going to the trouble and expence of vasectomising a Hob, you'd at least invest in a Locator set
  4. Your turn to do our write up Jamie, i'll do the pics
  5. have a look on ebay mate. there's a few on there
  6. A mate of mine lives in ffos-y-fin, plenty of rabbits around there fella The smart ones stay in sight of the police station too Haha, iv long netted that place many times. LOTS of rabbits there, also i have permission behind there where the cliffs are and we get some good numbers there too. The farm that runs down to the cliffs further on is running alive with them too, it's split by the footpath at the bottom. The warrens on top of the cliffs are a bit iffy there mate, the holes come out into the face of it don't they
  7. A mate of mine lives in ffos-y-fin, plenty of rabbits around there fella The smart ones stay in sight of the police station too

  12. Nice one, don't forget to take off the feet and the head, as neither teeth or nails can be digested and aren't an ideal thing to try and pass
  13. Ten weeks and only just starting to house train? how long have you had the pup? Kinda shot yourself in the foot letting it go in the house in the first place. Get yourself a crate, this is the easiest way for you. don't get a crate that's too large or it defeats the object
  14. Also the MOD Village and firing ranges are alive with rabbits

  16. I gut mine at least mate, if you just throw a pup/ any dog a whole rabbit, how do you know it's not diseased? i've opened rabbits and found tumours the size of golf balls  , i've found discoloured livers also. I just like to know what my pup is ingesting. And feeding the stomach contents and faecal matter just doesn't seem right to me. I'm one of the ' gut it freeze it then feed it brigade'. Happy hunting to all
  17. what about the jill jab mate? only a tenner and brings them out of season usually if the ferrets come back in soon afterwards the vet my sister uses will repeat the jab for free if the implants only last a year, does that mean that a ferret could have half a dozen or more inside it by the time it meets it's maker? i'm intrigued
  18. spot on  :clapper: from personal experience, the police would take no action against you in those circumstances, a statement is all they'd be after and say frightened, not aggressive. briefly, i had a rotty on lead and in control, woman had terrier off lead and very uncontrolled i asked her to put it on a lead but flossy was having none of it, flossy ran at the rotty, growling rotty picked it up and threw it, minimal damage, a slight tear on the shoulder. i had police question me and in their words, 'it was dog to dog agression and they weren't going to get involved'
  19. 16 from a 6 holer :icon_eek: :icon_eek: :icon_eek: :icon_eek: Us mere mortals can only dream of such things Well done fella

  21. how do you pay for the poly it doesn;t say.do they accept paypal. He accepts Pay Pal... I've just ordered some, and not a bad price , so thanks again NRigger! Buggsbunny . Think about it .A rabbit emerging from a burrow is probably only going to see a net of any colour as a silouhette against the light. Then there is the fact that rabbits are probably colour-blind or certainly don't see colour as we do and are defintly are more attuned to detect movement than colour. The number of times that rabbits back-net into nets of all colours is the real indicater that the rabbit
