Hi folks on the 16th of May I am runnin g in the great Manchester run to raise money to help send a little boy to the world karate championships in Italy in october I will be running in a ghillie suit so its not going to be easy if anyone would like to donate any money to this great course you can see the full details on the poachers rest forum please give generously as I might actually die whilst trying to do this.... By try the gun out I mean would it be possible to fire it before I hand over my cash to make sure the power is up and it cycles properly.Sorry to sound like a pain in the bum but I bought a gun a while back off someone on a forum only to find out when I got it that it was knackered.   10. Hi Pal I have just finished doing some urban fox control in a very built up area. Center of Manchester. 1 Yes I would ring the police-last thing you need is armed response turning up. 2 As long as the shot doesn't leave the boundaries its fine 3 I wouldn't use a 22 as the ricochet aspect in a built up area could be an issue I personally use a silenced 12 bore and have had no problems I used a hullmax bb cartridge and dropped them stone dead out to about 40 yards Hope it helps 410 Phil

  15. hills mate ive got a half barrel trap but tried with the scissor trap dont know how you rate these how do find the run between the hills Hi pal I don't use scissor traps, I find them a pain in the arse Poke a stick into the ground and when you feel it give you are probably in the run
  16. Holes or hills ??? Place the trap between hills in the run,make sure you clean the run out either side of the trap smooth the bottom of the run.place the trap in the run and make sure it can't move about wedge it with a sod of earth if needs be then cover it with soil do not firm the soil down on top of the trap. I have written this presuming you are using a half barrel trap?? All the best 410Phil

I don,t think the person who was stealing my duffus traps off the golf course will be doing it any more after I buried a few upside down :sick: :sick: Also the Talpex seem to have stayed put as well after burying a few of then upside down as well. :cry: Just going to go round the club house tonight and see if any golfers have got bandaged fingers.   20. They are 6mm now whether that is the tube in which the shot is contained or the outside diameter of the percussion cap I don't know but they are definitely marked up as 6mm. Regards Phil
  21. I am pretty sure 6mm and .22 are the same but they must be old as they are marked up as 6mm I am looking for 9mm garden gun if you know of one going anywhere. Cheers Phil
