Honestly , It wasn’t planned ,there was about 8 or 9 of us and we just ended up on the foreshore then gradually started biking out on the flats until we decided to head to a house we could see in the distance on the Cumbrian shore . We thought we were gonna land at about rockcliffe but instead we were well down the coast and it was a long old trudge back through wigton and Carlisle to home . we had our pals little brother with us as well , he’d have been about 10 years old im sure someone came and got him from their aunties house if I remember rightly

@jukel123When I was a kid, about 12 /13 a gang of us went on a bike ride one day from our little town and we went up the scotch side to Gretna market. We ended up at our mates aunties house for tea . I’ll never forget her face when she realised we had biked over the solway from eastriggs to anthorn . she went f***ing mental and we cycled home from there in pitch black. The idea of my kids doing that is horrific

We aren’t talking about getting fit mate . markbrick used to lamp with his bitch trotting beside the vehicle . As in That’s how he hunted her. Thats some serious miles week after week and I was told that kat was as sharp and as fit a dog that’s ever looked down a beam
