    drove round today looking for my first permission for a bit of ferreting and every farm yard we went into either had a vicous dog in it or the farmer wasnt in so we decided to ask this one last farm we drove in got out and knocked on the door and a old woman answered and was ask weather we could have permission and she replied yes but no dogs they scare the sheep the deal is though that we work around her sheep we dont now the borders as of yet because her sons wernt in to show us but on the field she said will always be empty and have no sheep on ever ,we went to have a look there was so m

    sorry mate but if it isnt dead by this morning i could graunty i will be tomorrow i wouldnt let its suffer its only fair for the animal it gonna get worse for it if you cant end it then take it the vet

    i have had i beagle and would say you will never get a nicer looking dog everything about them usualy is nice and the marks r superb but if you get a ugly one there horrible what i would say is they are really hard to get to listen to you out side the house once there on a scent and they bark aswell. you will most probably lose it atleast once because once there gone there miles away my beagle i ended up keeping it on the lead and as a pet never nown a hard dog perfect for what there bred for but just wernt good for what i was doing atb anthony tomo

    All of my ferrets are like that as im the only smell they have been around since kits they only will let me or my dad pick them up anyone esle trys they get a nasty bite the worst one is my hob because hes the youngest and out of them all i hold him the most i dont think its about they only like me and my dad but they only no are smell so when someone else trys they bite them in a way though i like it makes me feel special haha XD anthonytomo

    I use a box when im ferreting as i have the three ferrets out at once but when im walking around with my mates or fishing or even when they go lamping as i dont have a dog the big hob goes in my pocket an he falls asleep after a while ,the hobs will go asleep anywhere where as the jills are harder to take out because there more lively. anthonytomo

    ive got three ferrets in a standard size hutch mate and all intoduced at different times id say if you do put your mates ferrets in or get another on just watch them closely they do scrap a little bit at first but not serious just to see the packing order there will proberly be hissing when you feed them but i havent had any problems when i have got new ferrets but i would watch them very closely atb anthonytomo

    id get it to the vet as fast as u can ferrets are hardy creatures and hide signs of sick ness very well but when they do show signs of sickness they go down hill very fast so its most likely to be more sick than u think atb anthonytomo

    bird so true the reason why the dogo is so aggresive is because the two argintinia brothers that made them wanted the ultimate fighting dog but could also hunt big game i a pack an thats what they where bred for but still an amazing dog

    i agree mate people would reck the breed back over here but there a very nice animal and would like to see them in the uk just my opinion mate

    thats why i said as a pet mate i realy dont care weather its to work or have as a pet i just think there fascinating and id like to experience owning one of these magnificient dogs in the future its an life long ambition to but seem i would have to move to get one

    ino there not pets mate but if there is anyway around the legal limits im sure thats all it would be able to be i would love to work one an train one to be a gaurd dog but let be honest there banned and there is no way you would be allowed to have it for anything else if at all

    lads im not bieng funny most of use have bull cross there banned i asked a question i no u cant inport them ino there banned but what i was asking is can you get a liciences to own one of these dogs with reqirements ie always wear a muzzel must always be on a lead i didnt start this topics to start a arguement but to see weather you can go about getting one legally and stay by the giude lines

    I know of a few lads on here who work the dogo and i am very intrested in the breed they fascinate me and i was just wondering weather there is anyway you can get around the ban in britian to get one of these dogs not to work but just as a pet any help or advise would be very gratefully reseved. thanks anthonytomo
