  1. That heat your on about mate its as good as any final, listers got 3 in that heat
  2. IMO the flapping scene seems to be making a come back, youve got 3 tracks over the north east all seem to be running well, one of thems just got new owners and its definetly on the up,youve got Ary in scotland just had a new hare put in that to seems to be taking of,corbewood started trialing so thats another good sign and elmsmere port reopened and with the tracks thats already open its going well at the minute and seems to be getting more and more support all the time
  3. Well Stig I used to race a dog years ago (more of a family dog/hobby) but been out of the game a while. A few good people I know thats been in the game years have given up saying "it's not way it used to be"? Its still has good now as it was then, ive just got back in from racing tonight on the flapping track over the north east i enjoyed every minute, couldnt honestly say wich is the best dog around at the minute imo theres that many just to pick one,i like a few over different distances, the best line imo is the farloe dingle bitch she doesnt seem to throw a bad one,now bitches out of

  5. Are you allowed to enter if youve got no permission or is it a rule you have to have some to enter
  6. A think there the same were ever you go,ive got greyhounds aswell and when you bump into them they never ever seem to think about putting leads on them you get a daft yorkshire terrier come running towards you barking then the owner will shout it only wants to play.its funny tho when you shout back yours might but these will kill it they soon change there actions then, end of the day its there dog that would come worse off and they dont realise this, its also a bad way for dogs to pick up injuries with all the jumping and twisting and when the leads get tangled around your dogs legs anything co
  7. There still easy you big mouth f****r av a 11year old in the kennel that would still hunt them up and catch them with ease a rabbit in thick cover harder to catch and ive seen dogs with worse injuries come back and catch better things as ive said nothing special, your probobly another one of these who seem to think there untouchable behind a computer screen a bet your not as cocky in person

  12. Never mentioned open fields mate, just said fields,i only said about the toe problem that its not true that they get knocked up easily because they dont, the speed they go if they hit a fence they bounter get injured especially a ex racer theyll be just use to running flat out and not used to pacing there selfs like a lurcher does, imo 99% will take fox single there 1 of the keenest dogs out jmo
  13. JMO but 99% of greyhounds would take fox singlehanded, ive a bitch here im thinking of breeding she won her last race for me then the morning after she was injured she is as keen as they come shes had a few cats in her time all by accident but there usually killed in about 2seconds,as for them getting knocked up it aint true i let my greyhounds of in the fields atleast a coulple of times a week and theyve never been knocked upand they run about
