    I think a good first cross put back to a well bred saluki saturated dog would be worth dabbling with pretty much the same as sankey did with dancer she was neer on half x and when put back to a good saluki influenced coursing dog produced some very smart animals

    Not really as alot have lurcher to lurcher just an exaple collie/grey put to pure saluki maybe then put to grey/saluki/beddie and so on then putting said offspring to other type doing the job leads to eventual purpose bred coursing dogs. Very rare a line starts saluki one parent greyhound another But if you go back to the begiining there must of been a first cross weather It be saluki, collie Beddie or what ever the will of more then likely been a first cross somewhere!

    this man got around of applause at a dog show yesterday for saving a dog when no one else noticed it was struggling in the heat well done mate Top marks to trotter but I think best place for them in this heat is a nice cool Kennal not being dragged round these shows

    In replie to the original post, I don't care where I'm running aslong as Im Getting my runs. With out doubt the fens is a spectacular place but there's more to life than sitting in poilce cells etc lol there's plenty big enough land in England where you will see a full course without having to be on the fens

    How can you trial dog in July though? Most dogs could catch 3 this time of year come January they won't put a bend in one unless you personaly know someone that has genuine reason for sale I wouldn't touch one
