Samba do you know how many of lightenings litter brother/sisters are still alive as i heard quite a few died in action in the field
-
just out of interest how many are still living out of her litter ? as i am led to believe that most of them have died in the field and by watching lightening work i can understand why as she would rather crash head on into anything than let owt get away, which can be a pain when she`s laid up injured but i do know i`m getting 100% from her and not much gets away mate believe me
-

hi lads (and lasses) i have just bred a litter of pups primarily for myself and close friends, but i do have a couple of pups spare, the sire to the pups are rhys`s billy, a well known half cross very game dog from south yorkshire, which is now retired but proved himself time after time, season after season the dam of the pups is lightening a 3/4 greyhound 1/4 bull bitch which i believe was bred by HBG on here she is a 110% commited (sometimes too commited) single handed bitch and that includes fallow bucks on numerous occasions too, i believe her litter brother (thunder) was sold for £800 a

why skywards and not to the floor between you and the fox ? your method would be better off carried out with the landowners permission

I WILL SECOND THAT we had some good nights out mate. some good 4x4 ,s on the team this year bring it on. we have a good team of lads, a driver who could beat the stig from top gear in reverse, 2 good door lads who get em out o door faster than traps at kinsley dog track and a lamper who`ll sit out in all f****n weathers, we got a few top motors between us an some fairly useful dogs too so hopefully its gonna be as rosey as last season for us mate, all we need now is for sun to keep out for next few week and them lazy arse farmers to get them combines goin flat out and we away and at em

My sentiments exactly jd its much cheaper to be able to call into the nearest farm to fill up

legacy turbo estate for most of the season, i have fitted the outback suspension onto it to give it the extra ground clearance which saves alot of damage underneath with all the weight it has to carry and a set of 15" rally tyres on for the traction, some people may say they are too fast and in the wrong hands i agree they can be lethal but in the right hands WHAT A f****n TOOL ! they will get you onto more tackle than any other 4x4 you could think of within a reasonable price range, and when it gets too wet late on in the season we switch to the 300tdi range rover classic with bf goodrich

keep on walking it that far at that age and then when its bones and joints are f****d you can have it put down and get pup number 4 problem solved !

question, for lads who know what they are on about
subaruwilly replied to conor's topic in Lurchers & Running Dogs
i lost a good 3/4 bull x young dog in the same circumstances last season, slipped him on a herd of fallow and was never to be seen again, we shouldn`t really have been where we were but we hung about for a few hours calling him to no avail, no sight or sound of him ! a total mystery, even went back a while later and explored all the usual avenues dog wardens, police stations, local kennels etc everything apart from knocking on the keepers door maybe the keeper caught up with him and dealt with him in his own way or maybe he hit a tree and lay quiet injured or even dead who knows? we tried our -
don't talk shit they are not meant to go to ground , they are there so when you break through to your terrier they can take over, its called not letting your terrier get the shit kicked out of it, and as for being slow thats up to the lad, on what quarry he is going to take, with a 3/4 bred i don't think he will do much rabbiting with it. thats y you must get the right tools for the job in hand god gave you 2 hands to get in there and take hold yourself you shouldn`t need the lurcher to take over
-
well f**k off onto terrier pages then dumpling head if ya`v nowt better to say and leave us unsporting people alone
-
most i`ve ever heard of is 17 foxes in the night with 4 dogs this was a few seasons since and same lads have had double figures on at least 3 occasions last season i was out on one of the occasions and it was december time so before people start moaning they weren`t all young daft cubs

thieving c*nts had my running dogs away a few year back, good job my dogs were shit or i`d have never got em back
-
i owned your dogs sire (jip) i started his working career off as a pup and he was coming on great guns he was a very nice looking stamp and quite a useful digging dog and was killing most of the foxes he could get to but eventually spewed on the digging job about 2 and half years old but would still kill his foxes, he weren`t overfaced at all and had no really hard digs as such, he just threw the towel in so he had to go and was sold as a fox only dog, but on the other side of the coin i do know some very useful dogs out of this breeding, hope this helps
