    If you go on the Beretta site and email then the serial number they might tell you. I had the same question on my Airarms Tx200 and they could tell me how old, what model everything. Even sent me a manual. Having said that I've just had a look on their site and I can't find a contact email on it :11: There's a 'catalogue request' option - you could try that to get 'in'

    Trouble is the symptoms are common to a lot of diseases: An infection of leptospirosis resembles a cold or influenza infection in the initial stages.     Could be bark beetle. I had that in some ash logs I had stacked up outside but at the time we had the roof off and I was terrified that it was woodworm. If you pull a piece of the bark away you'll see little tunnels along under the bark agaianst the wood, but not actually down into the timber itself. John

    I remember some tale from when I was at school that rabbits didn't have enough fat in them. Apparently loads of the wildwest goldrush pioneers 'starved to death' from eating too mush rabbit and nothing else. Don't know how true it is.

    Sorry to be thick. So is that a weight on the end, then feathered hooks on individual short lengths of line, off as spurs from the main line ? Do I need any float or just use the angle from the weight up to the tip of the rod ? Cast it once and leave it there ? or pull it in to check every now and then ? thanks John

    Sounds like fun. How about a few categories so we can prompt peoples thinking; - Instructive; articles on how to do something (e.g. snaring) - Narrative; relating a story or incident - Factual; articles about something (e.g. the history of Plummers) - any others ? Winner in each category and then overall winner get's the prize ?

    Last year I bought my self a beach caster because every time I'm sat on the beach with the kids in the summer I get the urge to fish. Are there any restrictions about where you can fish from ? Any public beach ? Do I need some sort of rod licence ? Next question - what am I likely to catch ? what bait/float/lure should I use ? Can I use spinners and maybe get some mackerel or is that just daft ? ta John

    Could someone have done that rather than a bird ? If not keep trying and move the 'nest' about a bit so that any visitor is more likley to tip the trigger. What sort of trigger was it on yours maty ? One with a perch that collapses ?

    next time can you take some pics while you set them ? I'd be interested in how far into the burrow you place the trap, how you prepare the site, cover the traps etc. Particularly in rabbits. Thanks John
