  1. Six footers from bridport nets he done me some for single peggers and i got him to put the cords through to do four doubles. Think of the top of my head it was 2mm braid. As i said had tonnes with their nets before used as singles.
  2. Hi all, was out the other day when the dreaded happened, yep the fox spun out of the net. just wondering what any of you guys thought. It was the first time i really used my double peggers, i was just wondering wether the draw cord may have been too long making the pegs too far away from the ring so that when the fox bolted it took too long for the net to purse on him, hence him pretty much spinning out of it. The net seemed to be set fine, the net went to purse but he managed to turn, this is what made me think of the above theory that it didn't purse quick enough. I have always used
  3. Hi guys, I've been approached about doing the the mole control on a golf course. I don't usually get much call for mole work so not to clued up on pricing in this area, just wanted to know what others would do. Would you have something written up charging x amount per year, or price it so that they pay x amount each visit when they have moles turn up. As i said earlier don't usually do on going mole work so again would you normally turn up when they say they are back in area or once you have an idea of where runs are would you keep moving traps round on the perimeter for new moles

  5. Hi all hope you could give some advice i've been looking at getting one of these night vision scopes i've seen some of the videos on youtube and they look proper bits of kit. i've never used a night vision before so it's all new to me. The way i have seen it is some people from what i've read don't like the 4x mag on the 550 so then get the Dr bob attachment to enhance this by then you may as well just buy the 750 by what this adds up to. I will probably be putting this on a .17hmr or my 22live and also my 22 air rifle for doing pigeon culls. Any feed back would be much appreci

  21. Does anybody know of any good working jacks.
  22. My dog damaged his tendon end of last season on his front leg, his paw went from standing on the knuckles nice and strong to flat and splade on the damaged one. I went to the greyhound vet and he said the tendon was damaged. There was the option to operate but he advised against it saying it could go again after. He just said see how he goes with out it and i might just be reduced in the amount of runs that i would normally get in a night. I just rested him for a long time as he kept carrying his poor then i would very gradually increase his walks keeping him on the lead so he would run/play
  23. Yer right he wants crazy money for that. been on there alot cheaper. maybe few years down the line
