    I've had people ride past behind me when clay shooting and luckikly I've caught them out of the corner of my eye and stopped, I have also had people ride through the middle of my Land when I've been out pigeon shooting none of them had permission luckily I spotted them before they got too close and went and had a "CHAT" with them warning them how dangerous it is to tresspass when there could be people shooting and how if they had an accident due to me not seeing them I am liable even tho there trespassing, I have since made a couple of small signboards saying "shooting in progress" which I p

    me and my dad shared a shotgun cabinet for years untill i got a seperate one for my rifles and never had any trouble. i seemed to use his gun more than mine as my girlfriend likes to use mine. as matt_hooks says you can borrow each others guns for 72 hours, the feo didnt seem to mind that me and my dad used the same cabinet when he came round to check it for both of us. some would say better to be safe than sorry but its there in black and white that you can borrow guns so why not use this rule to ur advantage! eather way this is just what i do and the choice is urs its only a matter of a qu

    dont think there's really a living to be made maybe a few bottles at Christmas and a little pocket money but I can't see a farmer paying someone a fee to shoot rabbits when loads of lads will come and do it for free and some will even Pay! Like the one said There's always the option of trying to get a keeping job but they are few and far between by the looks of things.

    having revieved my fac a few weeks ago i got straight on the hunt for rifles i was planning to get a rimmy first but [bANNED TEXT] the oppertunity of a nice .223 i couldnt help myself. i was trawling guntrader and gunmart to no avail and then had a look on the forsale pages of THL and saw that trooperman had his CZ527 .223 topped off with a leupold vx3l 4.5-14x50 and a T4 mod with various homeload ammo at bang on my budget, so i jumped at the chance and went to pick it up on bankholiday weekend, i couldnt wait to get it home and take it out, went out bank holiday monday for a bit of a zeroing

    Got mine last satday aswell mine only took 3 months I had to hurry them up abit though it was funny when I rang up and they said there was a big backlog and then it was through the letter box in a week

    got my certificate through on saturday and theres no mention of that prone condition just the usual conditions which i have seen posted on here a few times when poeple are talking about licenses so i presume it was just a bit of advice but as i said in a previous post he said "im putting a condition on u of no prone shooting". god knows! anyways its all over with now just gotta find some rifles. cheers guys for all your help and advise Rob-O

    im only going off what he said his exact words being "im going to put a condition on u of no prone shooting" we shall see what come through the letter box. as you say common sense is the main priority when shooting. the main point the feo was talking about when looking at my land was common sense aswell, he told me a few stories of people applying for fac's without using there common sense and asking for 22-250 on alotments just because a mate told them that was the calibre for fox and things like that , he had full faith in me though when i showed him what i considered to be the safe lines

    it was in the interview he said "im going to put a condition on u of no prone shooting" it was after i showed him the pictures of my land and told him it was mainly flat but i do have land with valleys in aswell he didnt really explain it very well but i will post the exact wording when my license arives i did get the impression from him that it would be on my licence though.

    accept it i did, i didnt see it as much of a problem as i shoot from my 4x4 most of the time anyway and i could see where hes comming from as most of my land it really flat , did think it was a bit strange though
