Hello mate, Ive always been led to believe that 6FPE at the point of impact is all that is needed, so makes no difference if the shot is 10 yards or 35 yards, as long as its at least 6 FPE, and it hits the right place in the head it should die, however if the shot was a head on shot you have a possibility of a ricochet and then it wouldn't have mattered if the impact was at 12 FPE, if you get my point,, now before anyone starts slagging me its only what I have read in some of the mags,lol,, well I hope this helps, PS if I had a nearly new A400 and it was only chronying at 9.3 FPE I would take -

Hello mate, This is not my work it is taken from another site, A gas ram airgun is a spring-piston gun in which the coiled steel mainspring is replaced with a sealed "gas spring" unit. Hello mate, What pellet can you group best in a fifty pence piece size target at 40-60 yards, I think that's your main objective, personally I wouldn't take a sixty yard shot at a rabbit with .177 ammo, I dont think there,s enough knock down power, also I wouldn't use a .177 pellet above 9 grns, there seems to be a lot of evidence about using heavy loads, some say it can shorten the life of the spring significantly, its only an opinion mate but I hope it helps, ATB, Rob.

Hello Bud, Its not 12fps??? its 12 fpe??? if you buy any gun that's set over 12 fpe your gonna end up in the klink bud unless you hold a valid licsense, so if the rifle your talking about is adjustable from 12 fpe upwards then you need a FAC and the person selling you the rifle should be asking you for one, if there not its probably dodgy and if I was you I would leave it well alone, hope this helps bud, Rob,,
