    sad ending to what would of been a promising young dog poacher,the main thing is you tried, relentlessly by the looks of things,reminds me of a dig we,??well i say we ,my dad and his pals dug to a red lakeland type we had when i was 17(there abouts)3 days and nights we dug for the dog ,over 27ft,successful outcome though,like you said poacher if your prepared to put your dog to ground the you gotta be prepared to dig him/her out...atb poacher....darrell.

    it,s trials mate,also showing us how they do things in their countries,i for one dont disagree with it,granted it,s not your common or garden earth work would of thought its just another method of getting the young un s going..how many of you have used that sort of method to encourage the young dogs to get them started???i used to always have a pipe dug at bottom of me garden to train me pups...but then again maybe i ve been doing things wrong for the last 20yr....keep post you foreign lads/lasses i for one love to see terrier work from another country.s perspective...atb...darrell.

    Patterdale is a place in the lakes, so patterdale /fell terrier are one and the same,although most describe rough coated blacks as fell types and smooth coated blacks as patterdales..hope this helps,but think you already no this desert dog??? atb anyway fella...darrell.

    i was out ratting on my permission,invited a couple lads off this site for a day out with me on the rats,dogsa ferrets,cain saw smoker ,also the fella (benandgun)had just purchased a rat attack smoker m2 ,the rat attack was absolute shit in my opinion,once the smoke had cleared we tried the ferts and rats bolting so the bloody thing was worse than useless ..anyway rant over ,not a big bag think it was half dozen hard won rats,lost lot more though ,but they,ll be there for another day...enjoyable day in good company...welcome anytime darren...and your brother karl...atb...darrell.

    personally i dont like the stamp or look of the dog in first pic,but am not knocking the dog at all,as stig said is it part of an ongoing breeding thing and if so what out cross will be put to her or is the bitch in first pic the end product so to speak??also the pic of the second bullxrussell i do like...hope you get what your looking for out of your dogs fella...yis...darrell.

    hi ftb...have,nt been out much last couple weeks ,not by choice i might add but work has interfered (new business)new baby daughter also...list endless,but unless i get a call out will pack in end of mth,more or less packed in now due to circumstances spoken about....atb fella....darrell.
