  2. They might. But you could always use the weldmesh to create the structure and cover it with some smaller hole, lightweight mesh like chicken wire. would it not then be to heavily construced and scare off any pigeons and john if i want to use it on a non level roof, barn roof tin should i mesh the base?
  3. yet another question from me about mesh lol could i make a pigeon trap out of 2" square weld mesh or would the ferals and doves that also frequently steal the grain i'm trying to protect just hop through? i ask this because there are only so many i can shoot in the time i have each day cheers rob

  7. i don't know really it looks like pressure has been applied to it, it used to happen the opposite way with the first tealers i made out of thinnish wire, the force of the rabbit would pull the tealer through into a smaller loop

  12. i emails bridport nets the other day and they rung me back with a quote for 6z sheet netting of £35 for 150yrds or £45 for 200 yards. anyway this did strike me as rather expensive as it was just the sheet netting. does anyone know where i can get some good quality netting for a low price and is it really necessary to go for 6z (i was just thinking it will pick up less crap and be easier for a novice) any advice appreciated thanks rob
  13. much as you have to do a lot of crap jobs as well and the pay leaves a lot to be desired i would love to do your job. but apparently i have to train to be an engineer and go to uni because i have potential. i wish parents would realise that potential means nothing if your not happy. depressive rant over good work Rolfe

  15. i wouldnt think its paranoya as you can hear the difference, how much would it be to have it chronoed?
  16. ok my HW90 theoben has been mention a few times today, but i was wondering: it is a theoben gas ram gun, therefore it should retain its full power once coccked for a considerable period of time however i have noticed that when the fun is fired within about 30 seconds of being cocked the power is fine however after this time it drops off a little does anyne know why this is, my only thought is the seal on the piston is going? any advice is greatly appreciated ps. mods i am not trying to up the power and such suggestions will be ignored. i just want to diagnose the problem
  17. i have mentioned it on this and another post but why not
  18. yeah its working brilliantly other than the fact that it doesnt hold its full power when its cocked for too long, did you ever have this problem, i was under the impression that due to the gun being a gas ram it should hold full power. could it be the piston seal?
  19. i suppose so, my crow hunt didnt go to plan either lol but never mind
  20. no i'm not allowed a dog for some reason which is beyond me, and i couldnt reach/see it i think it sank
  21. i think you've hit the nail on the head there jack, i was out crow shooting this afternon (got nothing) and at the current length i had trouble coccking in a smallish space. i think i will will leave it standard, i have noticed that when i leave it cocked for too long it looses power which it shouldnt because its a gas ram, could this mean the seal on the piston is going?
