  1. i know a few so called coursing men that go out in the summer killing milky does and have done for years.pathetic. hares in snow are easy meat,but at least its in season.

I got my first ferret when I was 8yrs old of my dad, my first terrier and lurcher came along when I was 14yrs old. when I was 18 I got my first shot gun and springer, I am now 46 years young and have been in the SPORT of HUNTING for 38yrs. I have never made any Hastie decisions when it comes to any of my hunting tools. Should I have valued the dogs at £500.00 each and the lamp and battery at £180.00 like you probably would have alan626. I'm not selling for monetary reward I'm trying to give a good full set up to anyone who still has the drive to work them at a reasonably price.
  4. i've found dale's rabbits the easiest to catch,day or night,compared to other land i run. my present dog aint been up there yet,he'll think all his christmas's have come at once.
  5. Is the horse stuff the same as the dog stuff? if your going to use it,use "recharge" you can get it from any greyhound supplies.
  6. i've run dogs on big land for years and never found a need for the stuff.

  8. as has been said,keep the wound clean and just road walk the dog.in my experience it will take much longer than a week before any running.running the dog to earlier will just prolong the healing process.
  9. i've got a three year old a bulldog he's a belter.plenty drive,athletic,good with other dogs and kids.same as owt tho,there's bound to be some shite about to.take your time picking a pup.

  12. i had one about 15 years ago.would tackle anything and could stay on abit aswell.couple of smashed toes along the way though.a travellin fella from up caithness used to run one or two.i saw a bitch he had called misty run all day on big stuff no bother.

  16. best dog that i know of was also tor blood saluki grey called brandy,29" about 80lb.the lad who owned the dog was living in caithness area in the mid 90's.the dog had a good reputation on the horned variety and took several red single handed.

  19. same here.can't get my head around lamping early doors,well on top.i usually get on the land bout 11.30 12 ish and try and get home before 5. used to arrive home when the sun was coming up a few year ago when i was younger and keener
