  1. I have been on a hunt with him and his family. Solid terrier man was lost. RIP BOB
  2. Great to see you getting after it brother. Always a great time hunting with jonathon as well !
  3. Good Idea since I was agreeing with you ...In the fact that I would not know cause I have never got a coon small enough to know.
  4. I hunt them a few times a year in my off season in Mo. Hastings I have never been on a 15lb coon to realy know what is rougher in the ground but the coon I have got in the ground have been alot harder then any Groundhog I have got in the ground but the biggest chuck I have found in the ground was about 17-18 lbs .
  5. Most of my quarry is Coon , the odd Possum and odd fox but 95% is Coons , theres lots of lads bother with the Groundhogs over here ( USA, Canada ) but to be honest i cant be arsed with them ! dont get me wrong there perhaps good for getting a young dog started but there just not for me "perhaps good for getting a young dog started" how do you mean? Surely a coon in the earth is an easier victory for a terrier than a hog is. Are you saying a ground hog is more formidable than a coon in the ground ?
  6. I am wondering if I lmissed somthing. that was a messed up post on my phone sorry ..
  7. @ Miguel I am sorry if you took my post wrong seems someone tried to spin my post. In to saying the litter mates didn't look good. If he knew anything about hunting he would know you can't pass judgment on 10 month old dog. The breeder of your dog that gifted it to Dwyane before he peddled to you ask that you wait until it has atleast been on a possum.
  8. I hunted with 2 littermates to your dog a couple weeks back . it is good to see yours coming along aswell.
  9. Nice looking pup with solid dogs in the back ground ... I hope you like him D
  10. Great post Waz ... www.sitstay.com This works for me ..
  11. I am looking for info on a line of dogs that arrived in the states about 18 years ago ... They were about 10-12 lbs and had longer hair... If you can help me with any info please send me a message.
  12. It is good to hear you found one to show you the ropes brother ~!
  13. Does anyone have a list of the dogs in this book ?
  14. Yankee again you speak in ignorance, you know not what you speak of. The one private board eh? For all I know you are ASPCA or HSUS,you no hunting posts, pot stirring lurker. Question how did you get sucked in to this post how about you be productive and list your top 3 studs in America
  15. This thread has became BS ... I was hoping that it would be productive ... I am enough private forums Hastings..Look back on the one private board you are on you might see some of my old hunting post... Here is a short cut hahahhaha [/url] I don't hunt to make post .
  16. Steady I am a sport hunter ... I hunt to see good dog work not for "Body Count". I think a furhunter is out for the numbers game ...
  17. Yankee, what are you starting this post for? Do you have a bitch that is ready to be bred? Where are your hunting posts Yankee? Lets see them hunting posts buddy. What do you have for breeding? Are you a breeder or a hunter or both? I hunt I have not bred a patterdale yet. I was hoping to get to get a little civil talk about what everyones thoughts were on the studs here and over there ... I don't hunt to make post and am not writer Hastings .... How is that bitch off the cull working out you? Have you breed her yet ? Griz I do not have any plans to breed but when I do I mi
  18. This post is spot on ... I will say this though game in the ground can't bolt they can only go through a dog alot of times .. A coon in a hay pile can usally bolt another way ... The dog has to do the same work though jmho ... Also a huge diffrence from a fur hunter and a sport hunter and what they want to see from his dogs ...
  19. I agree america ruins all good breeds ... Even the bulldogs now come in pretty colors , lol
  20. John what are you talking about . .I am not going to go back and forth with you on the net.. Dwayne Call me ... I simply said I am not intrested in the hunt because people fall threw at the last second. If I had a issue with you this would not be the place to express that I would adress it with you since I was talking to you about 1hr before the post . . Stunt Sparky was worked in the ground most of his life. .
