Yeh like you say you find what mag works best for you anway and work out your milldots , to be honest i think yeh the ballistic calculators help a tad but to be honest its trial and error anyway isnt it , i also use a laser rangfinder for range estimating so have never tried with milldots myself.

Selling my nikko stirling 4x40 multi reticle electronic scope is in as new condition and boxed with instructions , has 6 different reticles and 11 brightness settings , has a 30mm tube and spare battery. has butler creeks fitted also though the red clip is broke on the front one, also has 30mm weaver fitting high mounts.
Its a very nice scope overall and a very clear image

will have to try and get a new gun then,problem is I don't really like PCPs because I have to fire it off after,so if I take like 5 shots and 5 rabbits then I have to fire like 100+ more times to take the cylinders out

Cheers mate , yeah hes pretty quick from the go considering hes 29" ths , havnt really seen him having his legs stretched properley yet but the time will come im sure , his parents were both hancocks 3/4 grey 1/4 collie but i didnt buy from hancock but both were proven workers for a gamekeeper .
Went for a walk earlier with my daughter and my 19month old collie/greyhound , dont useally post pics but i thought i whack them on , hes starting to come on now after a having a good start then slowing down abit partley my fault as not having the time to bring him on as quickly as hoped with new baby and all , but looking good.
I have the px version on my fx2000 and for the money they are hard to beat , very clear optics and have never lost a zero , and there service is excellent always had things ive orderd from them turn up the next day without fail.
