I've just received My Scottish Association for Countrysports, members magazine and was delighted to see a two page article by "JD aka Scraggy" the article "lamping the Uneducated" the article is so evocative I was nearly running down the lamp beam, with Tommy the Lurcher!!!!!!!!!! the accompaning photos for the article are excellent . After speaking to our new Director at SACs re: the the article, I was chuffed to hear, that JD is going to be a regular contributer to the magazine, and that there will be more of a regular emphasis and stories on Lurcher and Terrier work . The SACs Members

I was wearing the kilt, it does'nt matter how feckin ugly you are the effect of wearing one, when women are about is amazing, I'd like to thank every-one for their kindness and genorosity towards Zander who receive a great many gifts and best wishes from every type of fieldsports enthusiast, a special thanks must go to Lurcherworld and its members, I have never met such a nice group of people or had such a welcome. 13. Its the same incident, the police are still investigating, but for all concerned it looks as if the accident was a complete fluke, I know the guys involved and I would be very surprised if blame is aportioned to any-one There is no case, as no-one has been charged with any offence???? Tom
  14. Every body on the back of that T-shirt helped in a material way, The websites involved allowed the appeal to be posted in their forums and forum members donated cash and the offer of day's out, some Lurcher enthusiasts even offered Zander a pup, Country magazines, advertised the appeal in their letter pages so that more people, were aware of what was going on, The National Coursing Club's Di Brodie sent free passes to the Waterloo Cup. Because Zander, is involved in promoting Lurcher and Terrier work as a member of the Scottish Working Dog Association a large number of UK Lurcher and Terr

  17. Alexander (ZANDER) Kerr aged 15 at the NWTF agm was told he is to be a recipient of the Chairmans Award, because of his attitude and determination to carry on hunting with terriers after his dreadful accident, after which his right eye was removed after being hit by a ricochet from a shotgun (Zander was'nt shooting) it was extremely good of the NWTF to honour the youngster in this way and its a day he'll always remember, Friday were off to Selby and hopefully see some of you guys there?
