I am a member or the wicklow terrier lurcher and whippet club, we are holding our own flapper racing for our own cause. They list for the 32 county quaifiers will be posted this even.. As far as I know the 32 county racing is not been held on this date however that may change. Thank u for all your kind words -

I am truly grateful for all the positive comments. We are all hoping for a great day and a good turn out.. I will post a list of the classes this evening. Please note bitches and dogs will judged separately. The show is in the village of rathnew and will be very well sign posted from the motor coming from southbound and northbound

The All Ireland 32 Counties Champions of Champions will be held at the Wicklow Terrier, Lurcher and Whippet Show in conjunction with the North West Terrier and Lurcher Club on the 25th August in Rathnew Co Wicklow. The champion terrier, lurcher and whippet on the day will qualify for the All Ireland 32 Counties Champions of Champions, which will take place after the show. Judging will start @ 1pm The pet show will commence @ 2:30pm There will be flapper racing before the show @ 12pm Admission €5 Entry per dog €2 All usual classes...

Sorry I missed a question on this on another thread because I was on holiday for 5 days in Knoydart after Shanes - pure bliss no car, no 'phone, no internet and no TV. One pub 1.5 miles away from where we were staying and sunshine virually every day. With walking, eating and drinking I came back ready to finish off our planning for Birr and I am afarid I didn't feel like trawling through a lot of posts on Shanes. So my apologies if you or someone else felt they didn't get an answer - as you know I normally try to answer every post - good or bad!. We had intended to split the classes at Shanes -

Anyone who wants to keep the hunting and rual way of life in ireland should attend this rally your support is really needed!! there is no point of a handful of people fighting for the hunting ways and the rest interested sit at home its up to every person to get out there and show your support. theres no point moaning and giving out when its gone.. hope to see many people there, men and woman atb fox hunter
