where is that held mate
-
this is true there are lots out there, i was mainly worried about shot count recharging etc, to the point that i have been and still am (a little) thinking that maybe the theoben eliminator could be a choice for me its heavy i know but i am used to shooting my hw90 i think its the same weight as this. the simplicity of just slinging the gun on your shoulder and a pocketfull of pellets does attract me somewhat and about 30 ftlbs but i to had a rapid mk1 standard limit many years ago and loved it. i am a little uncertain of what to go for now but i`m in no rush will wait till new year

thats good to hear mate, please keep me informed as to how you get on with it, is the power set by the factory or can you adjust it yourself.

i`ve got a baikal 12 bore and .410 they may not be pretty but they are solid, have had the 12 bore for 20 years, i reckon i could club an elephant to death with it then leave it at the bottom of a river all night to wash the blood off and still go pigeon shooting the next day

just got in for lunch and there she was sitting on the door mat all crisp and new it was quite quick once everything was sorted out. get christmas out the way, then off to theoben to bankrupt myself . has anyone on here got a fac rapid, i`m thinking no fuss just get mk11 but they seem to do a few types now but based on the same gun, any advice would be great, also can you vary the power yourself on them or does the factory set it at what you want when you buy, and lastly what would you say is the best power to go to as i`ve heard that to much over 30 ftlbs can affect accuracy, is th

Airgun ban : call for help
trapperman replied to Concerned's topic in Rimfire, Centrefire & Shotguns
it pisses me off when you see people in power using the actions of a few idiots to control everyone soon you wont be able to fart without a certificate of competence. i`ve signed it. -
i`m looking at fac air at the moment to and i think for me its got to be a rapid, which one i dont know yet but i think around 90 shots per fill at 30 ftlbs, compared so i`ve been told with air arms and the like of around 15 shots per fill plus you can just take a spare buddy bottle with you for back up and not all the charging gear. i had a standard limit rapid many years ago and it was a cracking bit of kit.

i had a rapid 7 many years ago when they were the first of there kind, had my longest and best shots with this gun. longest, rabbit at 70 paces most memereble a squirrel up a tree about 35-40 yards i could only see his ear sticking out above a branch, put the pellet staight in his ear

If there's a full-on Ice Age lack of crops is going to be the least of your problems. A kilometer or more of ice might constitute a bigger problem. And the timescale for the onset of this is a couple of decades MAX, not centuries. i`m going to invest in snowshoes and corner the market, this time next year i`ll be a millionaire

totally agree with you on the tree thing they breath life to the planet, i`ve planted over 3000 trees on my smallholding.

when my fao was questioning me on the ballistics of the two rimfires i applyed for at first, i thought good because i`ve been swatting up on this i said that the .17 hmr has around ftlbs energy at 200 yards he just laughed and said i`ve got a .17 and i can tell you it has no more than 6 ftlbs at 150 yards i also had to correct him about the 50 foot from a highway thing as he thought it was 50 metres but he admitted that he wasnt sure

well you may remember the trouble i was having with my application as i wanted it open cert for my work in pest control etc etc any way long storey short i had the fao out this morning to check my own smallholding and he passed it for fac air so at least i have my foot on the ladder so to speak, he even said i could shoot a .17 there if i had a fox taking my poultry as it would be close range but i think i will just wait for my certificate first before i make things anymore complex. it will be a closed cert but i will just call him every week until he gets pissed off enough to open i

i think they are getting more than just child benifit as after 2 or 3 kids it max`s out at £50 per kid per month so for 10 kids thats £500 lets say another £200 for the other 3 thats £700 so they are getting another £3500 every month in other benifits. i just think its wrong for people of any creed or colour to be living off other peoples hard work. i think it was on a programme about benifits not long ago they said that more money goes out country wide in benifits each year than comes in in tax on earnings each year, unbelievable, how can this be allowed to continue its no wonder -
was chatting to the mother inlaw the other week shes a forecourt manager and said this time next year diesel could be £1.30 ish a litre, its a joke.
