    had to pickup my brother inlaw from gatwick airport lastnight at 10.30 got caught on m25 traffic for at least 1.1/2 snail pace got to where the hold up was my god a landrover lwb 90/county had gone under a lorry in the fast lane the cab was f--kt didnt hold out much hope for the occupants of the landrover and another car totaled the body of the lorry was off and been trailerd away like a smallish luton must of come off the lorry body in impact disaster for the 13th and some sad news for someone .

    going to look at a keepers tikka t3 m95 today doubt if i will buy it as keepers tend to blow a lot throu them also he has stained it black ? not sure of age he asking £350 for it but my mate set the veiwing up so a look wont hurt but i have my eye on the remington looks clean good bore and cheap like the budgie. the scope has no name on it apart from PA but used it with out any problems .but may go back to a x40 for the 243 and leave the PA it on the 222.

    no special reason for the tikka just like the look and feel of the gun .did look at a remmington with a short barrel was very nice and compacted with mod but secound hand and not sure of how many rounds been throu it £275 compaired to the tikka £750 i have a good set of glass PA 6-24x50 i got on great with on my 222 i know trial and error it may not suit the 243 . i am foxyjohn jnr case already about reloading .my pal payed £49. for 20 rounds of 75gr i think it was from fultons bisley ?

    had the 243 added today fox/deer looking at the tikka t3 hunter no new guns till april thou still one on order. anyone reccomend a decent round for it been told 100gr federal by shop keeper but they all say domething different surpose trial and error. and got to keep my 222.

    thankyou for reply i think my mentor has spoken to him stateing this already. i did think of keeping the 222 but the 243 will do the fox as good lol lol and i havent the room to keep the 222 as well 3 shotti's 22lr 17hmr 243 hopefully 7 gun cabinet but tight with 6 in it thankyou once again

    some of you might remember i wasnt to sure about how i would go about tradeing 1 for 1 222 for 243 well i applied and comeing on 4 weeks now got my call fao comeing thursday for a chat i finished my mentor on the 222 and wanted the 243 for fox/deer . my mate put in for the same and got no visit and license returned in 3 days all done ?. we are in same town . fao said i will need to know about placement shot on deer all be it a deer is much bigger but have the heart and lungs moved ? my mentor said he is talking 8ollocks my mentor is a lectuer on shooting at a well known college even thou i hav

    dig quick before he walks ? leave him walking i say . a good game dog will stay with his game till you dig to him and i have had some long awkward digs but dog stayed doing his job .you got to know your dog as your dog has to know you trust .
