he we have a midland rifle 308 age not sure of i have primed and sprayed her black and it is great if i may say so it also comes with a bushnell trophy 3-9-40 matte-trx-reticle as new also a pes scout mod needed 30 rounds of 180gr hammer heads some military rounds it is deadly accurate the whole set up £500 or rifle on its own £200. scope £150 mod £165 mounts £35 . pm me if interested surrey area cheap rifle

when i first got my 308 i tried zeroing it in unmoderated christ never again i soon had it cut and moderated i put a pes scout on it perfect what a difference . -

To be a little pedantic - an FAC proves a legal entitlement to posseess the gun. It doesn't prove you as the legal owner. I'm not sure if I agree that the cop handled it badly. If the PNC shows the details of all the guns on your cert then yes he did. If not though then what else was he to do? He doesn't know whether you are authorised to possess that particular gun. It may have been one that you had illegally. J. but then if he thought the gun was held illeagaly why was,nt i arrested for haveing a unlicensed firearm in my procession ? penalty max 5 years

i applied for a section 5 humane for dispatch of live traped foxes was granted it full time fox controller + being a pesti helped but refused a semi have to have a 2 shot revolver transport safe in van and holster when leaveing van to job and returning to van .

ah but as my fao's boss this being the last man to sign your firearms cert said on a PNC check now it takes less time to check you guns are registerd to you after produceing some form of ID driveing license . if i wanted i could claim loss of work as my firearms are my work also the rifle left my procession would now need a full service and resighting as it maywell have been tamperd with .not to mention all the running around to get it back again another day lost at work .but i am not going down that road as the price would be to high to pay for getting there backs up .i have been advised the

well a visit to police H Q this morning and a chat with the FAO's boss it is not law for you have to carry your license with you but it does help even a copy but not law . as a PNC check tells the officer's you are a fac holder and with no effort at all they can check the rifle is on your license ? they may ask for I.D drivers license which they did the officer had no real reason for takeing my rifle at all one phone call later and then i received a full apoligy for any incoveniance it may caused me and i could go collect my rifle from the police station with no cert pointless exercise and wa

o i will have it serviced as its left my property and will need a full service .it has cost me a fox job last night already as i dare,nt take my 22 rimmi out with out my license now to dispatch a fox caught in one of my traps last night which had to re released as no firearms to carry out the job the bill is climbing waiting on calls now to see how many more are in traps after last night

knick me to .confused as he told me PNC said the vehicle is tied to firearms or i am is that not enough . i explained the license was in for a variation . but he said you must be able to produce . never even searched the vehicle i never received my 9pm phone call last night either after leaveing 2 messages at police station for the officer . basc .fao solicistor today .

you are right i have had this said to me a few times when my license has gone in for variation ? my guns are my liveing . i have live catch fox traps out all over sw london at the moment which now means i cant dispatch till license is back ? this is going to be costy to me both ways .

just checked the ticket they gave me it reads . male seen in vehicle in possesion of a s1 firearm no license held .?

no they refused me to keep the bolt and no one came out to the house and i havent heard a thing even thou i rang them this morning .

i did ask him how he knew i had firearms on board and he said the pnc check told him ? so i said well then you know i have a license his reply was you should have it on you at all times that this offence was a license revoke if they want to take it further ?? and yet they were fairly decent about it thats the odd bit

popt out for a couple of hours last night lamping and on the way home at 1am i had a brake light out and guess who pulled me the armed response unit and they told me off with a slap wrist ? but then asked what guns i had which was the 243 then they asked for my license and guess what its in haveing a section 5 added to it so i was told i had a unlicensed firearm ? and they confronscated [sp] it and ammo and i have to go to cop shop as soon as i get my license back to see what is going to happen .anyone else had this and what outcome was there .

took young gunner and his 20 bore out for a trial run and we ended up with a decent day 109 in the end excellent day
