  3. Got an invite from royston2 to go and do some lamping on his permission he took his two, and I took my whippet, and pup bred by roysten2 out for a look. The hares were shot by the farmer who joined us at the start of our nights lamping. We also had a few rats to finish off with (sod lining al them up for the camera!) Not a massive bag I no but very little was missed by the dogs so we were both pleased! Im sure Royton will add to this. Thanks for a great nights lamping!

One of my whippets dislocated one of her toes and tore all the ligaments, the vet said not to have it removed, and its starting to make a recovery! he did recommended that if i was going to work her to use one of these Boots as the toe will be prone to injury for quite some time. 16. Sorry to hear about your wee tyke Blando,...BUT,...you were told of the risks a YEAR ago.... The fellow who advised you that such purpose-bred speedsters are not realy cut out to be rough and ready , roustabout rabbiting jukels,...has owned many top class race dogs,..and in truth, he has also caught one or two rabbits with me over the last 30 years... Personally,..I would of waited a few more weeks for the ground to hopefully soften up a mite. This type of specialist track dog CAN be turned on to the rabbiting game,.but you have to be sensible as to how you play it. They have been specifi

  19. Was running my little whippet bitch on a few rabbits the other night and noticed when I was just about to go home she was limping a bit and her toes were sticking upwards, I was shitting myself how the hell was she walking with them like that without yelping. But anyway they just seemed to click back into place but could still be pulled out easily. When I got home I vet wrapped them up and took her to the vets the next morning, they gave them a feel over and said they were dislocated and I had done the right thing, still charged £50 though. That was on Tuesday but now after taking the vet wra
