C'mon lad's keep it on topic !! the match between two of the most "talked" about dog's at the moment !! should be a cracking match between two top quality animal's The well tried and experienced "Lucas" against "The up and coming" Bulldozer !! who certainly opened a few eye's last year !! well done to both lad's for getting it on !! and good luck to both of you's

  5. Best all round bitch i ever owned was bred Saluki x Greyhound x Collie x Greyhound !! if i had been running the big land when i had her she'd have been a legend !!!
  6. Some people run them "right through" other's like myself prefer to wait until the bleeding stop's then run them until @ 8 week's out of season and then give them @ 4 week's off depending on the bitch, hope this help's !

  11. only quoted to echo carp777 ^^^ over worked even we jack now and again, and they aint machines so dont expect it right every time  That is nonsence Why is it nonsense ? how exactly do you go about breeding "jacker's" ?? is "jacking" genetic ?? I'm interested in your reply !!
  12. I've said it before i'll say it again "jacker's are made NOT BRED.
  13. An interesting topic !! now I've never been to Ireland so i can't comment on the coursing over there !! but I've coursed plenty on the fen's, In my opinion a "class" dog has to be the complete package !! i'e speed, stamina and a good mouth and a brain !!! I've seen plenty of dog's with enough of one or two of these quality's but lacking the other's, they will catch hare's but are not "class" !!. Now without trying to be "controversial" SIX minute's is a long time even on the fen's !! In my experience a 31/2 to perhaps 5 minute's is probably about "average" on the fen throughout a season, quite
  14. Nice dog mate !! out of Stevie to a Wheaten x Greyhound i believe ? and catch's a fair few long ear's i hear !!! Stevie direct son of Lucky x The Mouse.
  15. No mate she had last season off, and i think she's around 21/2 year's she'll be seeing plenty of work this coming season.
  16. Hi mate I've got a handy bitch 3 out 3 in the winter, bred from Troy's old dog (J.P "Wilkie" x Kipper's Tip") x an open class Greyhound bitch, a very powerful bitch who's blessed with a lot more stamina than she should have and is also very quick, then I've a young bitch out of "Posh's brother" J.T.s dog x J.T.s old black and white bitch, bit of an unknown quantity as she had bad shoulder injury early on in her first season but was showing promise, and last but not least I've a 11 month bitch out of Macca's Stevie (lucky x mouse) x Posh. To answer your question mate where we live is small fie
  17. Sorry mate but we never took a camera with the way thing's were, a crying shame in retrospect because she was the ultimate boxer ! I love the Lucky breed myself but like i said before none of them or any other dog I've ever watched i watched J Smith's dog many year's ago who run with the same style but he did'nt come close to her and i never owned her so i'm giving a neutral opinion !! She would have been a hard bitch to match, because you couldn't think to yourself i'll run her where there's a bit of "cover" because that would play right in to her hand's because she knew where he'd want to g
  18. Hi mate i don't think anybody really know's how" Sally" was bred I may be wrong! she was bred from generation's of "lamping" dog's by the Price's in the midland's !! the breeding of j.b's Luke to Sally was alway's likely to throw "clever dog's" as both of them run in that style "The Posh" was the best "boxer" I'VE ever seen !! I've got about Fourteen hour's of "Lucky" and his bloodline's running on D.V.D. and hand hand on heart I've seen Posh do more boxing in ONE day than what's on them d.v.d.'s !! I've seen her tie one up in the middle of a fen it never went any more than 50 yard's from the
  19. Barking up the wrong tree there mate !!! he's not lofty !!!!! I seen Rosco run for 11 minute's, hat of to the dog for being able to run for that long but in my opinion a real class dog should need a maximum of Five minute's !! only my opinion !! I know the lad's who were running him that day and they reckon he was never the same after that day.
