years ago 1 of my mates i used to go hunting with had a whippet bitch that was a demon at killing foxes, i have neva seen a bitch whippet with so much hate for them. she could kill them so quickly . ITS NOT THE SIZE OF THE DOG BUT THE HEART IT CARRYS !

ill second that , the young lads keen to get out and i find it upsetting that if an adult was willing to take the lad hunting and educte the lad in the art of hunting then the adults putting him self in the front line for shit about GROOMING . its all wrong ! small percentage (scum ) spoil it for the larger picture . when i was a lad i went hunting with men that where twice my age and they taught me what i know now. dont forget we where all young once and its the younger generation that will take the sport to the next generation , if we dont teach them then the sport will die out.

well i keep reading the posts on the forum and i see alot of good and also bad in my opinion on here and that brings me to my next posting on here that i might open a few eyes to how we think as hunters , so what i would like is who ever reads this to type in the answer or what they think is the answer to this posting is . now the sentence i would like answering . bonny dog mate . have a feel down the dogs rib cage ( from the top to the bottom off his chest ) and about 2 thirds down you will feel a line if knukle growth. if you cant feel them then the dog has hit his size, if you can and there not so big hes nearly done mate . thats how i have always worked it out and neva been so wrong . to look at the dog now from what i can see i would say your dog would make about 22 - 23" . he will most probly put most his growing it to filling out now mate . hope this helps . lovely dog tho mate , looks a right speed machine

best thing to do mate to stop the dog carrying on is to take it with you and keep it on the lead just to watch ( the dog is 7 mths old ) no harm in watching just dont be tempted to let it off. thats what i would do .

ive lost 2 dogs this way in my years with working dogs and its hard to except the loss realy feel for you mate . R.I.P.

you can pick your slips but can neva tell how long there going to go on ! once they start barking its hard to get the out of it . just get it fit then pick your slips to give it a beter chance to build up it confidence

aint that a bit wrong to asume its travlers ???? Thats just like saying every badger digger is any one that owns a terrier or every BNP suporter is a raciest !!! i agree with the about , neva accuse any 1 until certain , it can get you in lot of trouble ! i know how you feel tho i had my best bitch stolen years ago and it still hurts me to think about it .

start them on small obsticles and work your way up until the dog get confident mate thats what i do dont over face your dog
