i put one of my hobs in what i thought was a rabbit earth last week and he bolted a fox .fox left a little cub behind must of been only a few days old im just glad it didnt take the ferrets head of to protect the thing . very unusual a fox leaving a cub behind....very preotective animals over cubs.... thats what i thought i got a mark on the ferret and was digging down when it bolted so couid of been all my noise just glad it never killed the ferret

I've only fed mine dry in the warmer months a small bowl not as a staple but as a overnight snack & i noticed the weight gain & 1 of the jills seemed only to be intrested in the dry ..perhaps it's the Mc Donalds off the ferret world chemical enhanced & very addictive??? Theres summat in that dry food that makes them want to eat & eat & eat , i noticed it with the hobs especially & they went very flabby very quick plus thers double the amount of sh**e to clean up a hole rabbit last my ferrets about 5 days were as the dry they were eating like 2 kilo a

no mate tryed it i had rats under my ferret run lol my jill sorted that out but live traps with penut buter work might take a bit of time for them to get used to it before they go near it .

listen you fecking knob jockey my daughter has probably done more hunting in her 11 years than you will ever do she under!ands all forms of hunting and fishing and enjoys them which is what this site is all about ... when somebody puts up a heading of the ugliest rabbit you have seen why the feck would she or me think that there is going to be anything un toward on there ..... this is a hunting site pure and simple and it should remain that and be able to be used by the young and old alike without fear of them coming accross something that they shouldnt see at a tender age especially if it is

millet i agree BUT what about moderators are they excempt from this rule ??? stubby put up a picture of a rampant rabbit sox toy ... i complained but it stayed up ... again i dont want my 11 year old girl seeing things like that on a hunting site ............. best to keep her away from your sock drawer then ...the guy was only havin a laugh man get a grip you shouid not let an 11 yeer old girl on a site you no is full of adults and alot of adult houmer..next generation section thats for kids

my little brother just came chaping my door for pics of ferrets with rabbits for his school project so ther i am on the comp geting him pics .i was thinking i wouid of liked this sort of project at school so i ask him a little more about it turns our it was a animail crulty project and they had a news letter thing from the rspca saying how hunting is crule and shouid be stoped no pics for you pall lol i had to sit him down and tell him it was a lot of sh** they are teaching him in this class and this is a form of pest control lol as wel as sport its funny how they just delibretly miss out

for anybody in scotland... the bathgate market sells 15 kilos of ferret food for £15 it lasts you ages if your feedin rabbit aswell.

top marks for getting a proffessional in, but your posting on a hunting forum, that has a pest control section, and quite a few pesties, would'ent it be a better idea to ask here, if anyones in your area, might even save you a few quid only posted on the section because i no a few people wouid have experiance with ratting with ferrets .... did not want to no how to get rid of them it was more a qustion of how my jil wouid be in ther and wouid it come out the same way it went in ....dosent matter now any way i alredy put her in lol came out another hole i didnt no was ther

got a problem with rats they are living in my walls ..i have found the rat holes in my garden ..my qustion is if i put my jill down whats the chances of her coming bk out the same way ....little ba******s have chewed my tv wires lol
