  1. Rob Reynolds, you took the words right out of my mouth.
  2. Do you have any pics of him? More importantly does he work fox to ground?
  3. Brock a nice type of bitch.I had a Chapman cross bitch that looked very similar.Do you know what bloodline she is from?
  4. Tish I knew you had white lakeland in them as I know that there is Baulch breeding in your dogs. Alan always sells and shows them as Russells, but as you know his aren't.
  5. Nice White Lakeland Crosses LOL.
  6. Yes I worked one for six years or so,and a good mate of mine has two bitches that are outstanding earth dogs.Although one of them is retired now.
  7. Yes mate they most definately will.
  8. Poacher, what are your mates Nuttal terriers like to ground on fox?
  9. Cheers for the replies lads. Stevie,I was just interested to know what they were like for earthwork,as you don't hear of many people that are using them.I have a Chapman Russell that I'm very pleased with, and a good friend of mine has just offered me a Russell that was bred by Greg Mousely, and I was curious because I haven't heard of many people that use them.
  10. Cracking terrier what bloodline is it from?
  11. I was wondering if anyone on here is working or knows of anyone working any of Greg Mouselys Russells.I would be very interested in hearing from anyone that has any experience of them working fox to ground. Cheers.
  12. He still has a lot of dogs farmed out to various hunts, then he has them back for breeding. As I said it has a lot to do with who has it and what they show it. I have seen a lot of crap from many breeds and so called good working strains.
  13. A few pics of my old 3/8 5/8.These dogs get exeptionally good at what you show them the most. They are definately a dog that gets better and better the more that you get them out.Not a dog you can just shut up in a kennel. And here doing what he does best, marking a game bird thief to ground.
  14. Found another pic of him, he's bottom left. Limb,I think its horses for courses.I know what you are saying but I firmly believe that a lot of it is how much and what you show them.I have seen a lot of good and bad in all breeds over the years and they certainly don't get good sat in a kennel.A lot of it is down to experience.
  15. Both very nice dogs thanks Thats him with my mates lurcher pup,a while back. I'll have a look and see if I have any better pics, tomorrow.
  16. Brock,I own and work a Chapman bred Russell. He's two and a half and I'm pleased with him.I have dug and bolted many foxes with him.All of last season I worked him on his own and we had a very good season with him.I work him with my lurchers and I have worked him out with my local hunt. He has proven himself to be a useful member of our team,I can't really say any more than that. What breeding is your brothers Russell?
