How often to ferret the same set befor its overworked

weve got 2 places in the lakes where we ferret every weekend seems to produce everytime ,,, im off work this week so will see what they hold after this saturday + its getting lamped this week aswell -

striker an the lazer as a back up , or the other way, i sometimes find the striker to powerfull for cheshire, and also found im forever fixing the wiring or the striker seems a bit weak , brittle
