    GUN It will do the job much faster and with out much hassle. Better for the controlling of pest IMO, although i do have a dog but i think its more of a hobby to see the dog run than pest control.

    We've got that model on our shoot. I get to drive it allot to pick up the pheasants and general stuff around the shoot, and bloody hell its goof fun. But with no wind screen its a bit cold when you get the winter air in your face when you've got the pedal down.

    hia mate, went lamping in one last year. This one has a good set of wheels on it, really good little powerful cars. I wouldn't mind getting one.

    HIa mate. Im half way through processing my FAC and have done a lot of research into curtain calibers for curtain animals. From what I gather, If you have a "Good Reason" to possess that caliber then they cannot refuse you. I.E if you want a .308 for Deer then they have no reason to refuse the application for this caliber. As long as they see that you have a good understandment of safety and a bit of experience with this rifle would help towards your application I hope iv had a good shot at this question ( Excuse the pun) Best of luck buddy

    Well, as a few of you may know, I am a proud owner of shotgun, which means i have a SGC (Shotgun Certificate). I have had my SGC for almost a year now, and have had some great outings with my shotguns. I am a pure pest controller, i am not employed, I am simply 15 ( 16 In May ) I love to go out and shoot pest for local farm land. Most of you know that shotguns are a great way of pest control, but most of you know that rifles are, in most cases, are a better weapon of choice.     My SGC from sending the application of to receiving my Certificate was just over 5 months. So don't get your hopes up. But i didn't mind, I was using my head. I applied when i was 14 and a half and knowing that they would take a long time to process it, i would receive it just before my 15th birthday. So from the day i was 15 i have had a SHotgun on my certificate.
