    I agree with the boys on a collie x hound or collie whippet, especially if your doing plenty of ferreting. The collie will give the dog good feet and will be easier to train especially if its your first dog mate. Hurlock

    Hello lads, Looking for some advice on how to trap rats in my garden near my aviary. I have seen some rats in my neighbours garden which is heavily overgrown and am worried that they could get into my aviary and kill my birds! I was thinking of getting some Mark IV Fenns? Are these the best tools for the job? I have a dog so am a bit hesitant in using any poisons or would bait boxes be a good idea? I know this topic has probably been discussed before but I want to act as fast as possible. Thanks for the advice. Hurlock

    After the disgraceful scenes at Celtics game at the weekend during the minutes silence for remembrance sunday I think its best they stay in their own league for their own safety. Anyone would think no scottish lads died during the war?

    Cheers lads. I've heard real good things about the lithium battery's. Good battery life, no memory for recharging, small and lightweight. I'll try the bloke in Hull. Hurlock

    Hello forum. Just wondered if anyone hunts with Hobby's? I have been a major fan of them since I saw one hunting pipestral bats at dusk, there were a sky full of bats, a hobby swooped and they let out a terrible noise and hit the deck. I also saw one hunting swallows / swifts and thought what a fantatstic little hunting machine they were! Thanks Hurlock

    You can't beat the old Gilbrights Pilchards for the dog. Cheap and better than that shit tinned dog meat! I mix it with the dry stuff. Hurlock

    Hello, I'm a new member and thought i'd post an intro message. I'm originally from east London but have recently moved to Suffolk. My Dad introduced me to terriers and lurchers at a young age, and now I've got the space and bround for one I thought i'd join up with Hunting Life. My other interest include British Finches and wildfowling. I'm am after a manchester/black and tan terrier of the old type. My Grandad had one and said it was mustard, my Dad had Patterdales and Fells and I know they wrere the business. Not sure if there are any working starins about anymore? Can an
