  1. Thanks lads. Proper advice there. Like tiny says I'd only be picking on colour at 10 weeks, an i'd be scared on not picking the best pup. If I keep 2 back and 1 doesn't make the grade I will find a home for it. My concern was that they might have held each other back but good to hear from people who have done it and I'll get a new shovel for all the shit!! Thanks lads and happy christmas. Hurlock
  2. Hello All I am looking to but a video camera for filming my nights lamping and shooting? Just wondered if anyone could advise looking to spend about £200 - 250. I am not at all techy so any advice would be greatfully received many thanks. Hurlock
  3. Hello lads, I'm lining my bitch next year with the intention of keeping back 2 bitches out of the litter. Alot of the old boys I know say not to keep two pups out of the same litter, but they can't really tell me why? Apart from the hard work of looking after 2 pups can anyone tell me why its a bad idea? My bitch is my one in a million dog and keeping just reduces my chances of getting her equal. She's of an age where its not likely i'll line her again. Any advice would be appreciated. Cheers Hurlock
  4. As stated Suzuki SJ413 wanted. Must be road legal and clean not bashed up off roader please. Right money paid and will travel. Cheers Hurlock
  5. My point is very simple mate. I think complete food is utter shit full of things that dogs shouldn't be eating. I suppose you like kentucky fried chicken, maccy D's and microwave meals though so i'm probably wasting my breath. So you keep feeding whay you feed and i'll do the same, but why put scaremongering tripe (dogs can eat that) about minced chicken and then accuse me of doing the same when I put stuff up about complete foods. Do you work for Eukanuba?
  6. Try "The Field" magazine then pal. Sorry it wasn't what you wanted to hear. You never answered my question though. What EXACTLY is in the complete food you feed your dog? Sort of trick question there I know as you or anyone else on this site can't tell me. What about the nice colours which make the little biscuits look so inviting I bet they're necessary for a balanced diet aren't they................ I don't feed minced chicken; I feed meaty bones, offal, heart, kidney, rabbit, etc not that i'd have any problem doing so.
  7. Micky where can I get one of those mate what is it called just the ticket I think! Matt they were bought from a trusted member off this site so I am confident they are the real mc coy. Hurlock
  8. So was I mate. Think i'll risk the e coli threat from chickhen by washing my hands as opposed to slowly poisoning my dog! I hate compete dog food ning! (sorry swampy)
  9. Thanks mate. They seem super stiff to me as in very difficult to compress spring!!!! I'm in Suffolk, no one round me uses these i thought i'd give them a try. Cheers Hurlock
  10. Not wanting to piss on anyones parade here but did anyione read the article on euthanised pets being found added to dry complete dog feeds in the USA I live in Sudbury suffolk home of the purina factory(they mak e eukanuba, skinners complete foods). Their factory is more secure than Belmarsh, my missus is a recruitment consultant in the town employed by them and cannot even get on site. I would like to know what it is they are putting in the stuff and whether anyone can tell me exactly what is in the complete food they feed their dog? In the words of swampy completefood bait ning!
  11. Anyone got any advice on how to set bodygrips? I don't care if you an amateur pest controller a pro or just someone in the know. Don't want to cause an argument on here just looking for some advice. Alternatively does anyone want to swap 8 brand new BMI bodygrips for the same number of Mark Iv fenns which I am experienced in setting? Cheers Hurlock
  12. Try walking to heel with the lead still round her neck but no pressure on it (i.e. you not holding it with it tucked up) gives the impression of her still being on lead then gradually build up to taking it off altogether. Hurlock

I'd say very rare for a wirehair mate. In my experience I normally have trouble holding them back at 7 months. What lines is the pup from? Hurlock I wouldn't be too concerned it will allow you to instil the basic obedience into the pup which is very important in GWP's. Esp recall and the stop whistle. See how you go at 12 months I think you will have a different dog.
  15. Turn your back on him as he jumps up, or lift knee to stop him planting his feet mate. He'll soon get tired of it. Hurlock
  16. I also do a range of "I HATE WELSH C**TS" ones as well these are selling like hot cakes so you need to be quick. Who said anything about biting i'm deadly serious, right little earner these are. Welsh / Scots check out my website:@ jogon.com
  17. Is this the older dog Maccy? Is the young bitch pup still available? Cheers Hurlock
  18. Sorry to hijack the thread but i've got 500 "I HATE JOCK C**TS" T-shirts if anyones interested? Can be worn year round as Scotland are not likely to qualify for a world cup anytime soon..............
  19. I've got a walled garden rather than a fence but the one I saw was on the wall. I won't bother with any attractant then, thanks for the advice Rolfe. Hurlock
  20. Hello ned Love the thread and would love to hear some of your tips on training headstrong dogs and how to 'break' this. I keep a few GWP's and the dogs are notoriusly hard headed, once sorted they are a dream but i'd be interested to hear your techniques about making all decisions for them and the long lead? Thanks for a great thread. Hurlock
  21. I'd put her across a nice racey fell collie mate should be plenty up Cumbria way. I'm after a proper collie cross and would happily pay for one mate. Hurlock
  22. Rolfe Any advice mate next door neighbour is similar and they have a rat problem as I've seen them, setting a few bodygrips in tunnels and was wondering on your thoughts of using attractants (not that I particularly want to attract them to my garden but for trapping purposes?) to get the rats into a particular area, would this be a good idea? Hurlock

JT I am unsure what sort of problems you have in the north east. If you would like to see how things are currently I suggest you get your self down to Finsbury Park mosque on a friday afternoon (if they let you in being white and all) and listen to what it is they are saying about non - believers i.e. non muslims like you and me. I can assure you that you will strugggle to find this "decent, tolerance......" you speak of. Oh and be careful on the tube on the way back won't you.
