i have talked about this here before ,sloe gin ,i even thuoght it would be possible for me to grow my own sloe berries but then someone kindly informed me that it would take quite awhile to do that , as the bushes take some time come to maturity .so i managed to purchase a bottle of sloe gin here in australia and shit that was good stuff ,i dont like gin but that sloe gin damn was something special .we finished the bottle of tonight and whilst we can grab another one , and will , i was wondering if there is some really nice, special , kind considerate ,person that would part with some small

doesnt seem ive been successful in posting pics .... cheers .posting ,uploading, downloading ,all this computer technology stuff is difficult to grasp ,but im slowly working on it .i didnt want to ask how to do it on here as im sure your all pissed of with the same old crap ,i did a search on here but couldnt figure things out ,ive uploaded to photobucket (which was a mamoth task for me ) just cant get pics over to here yet ,i will sit down again tomorrow when im fresh ,

thanks all,dont know if i will tell her about the limoncello otherwise she,ll have me making that as well .found a blackthorn plant supplier but guess what ,he just recently sold out,no more until september ,still looking ,cheers.

bingo,,,,found some sloe plants to buy ,not sure how many berries will need but will get myself 3 plants for now ,,guess i will need to wait a couple of years for berries,cheers.

as we dont have sloe berries here and my shiela keeps bragging about how good sloe gin was back in wales,well i bought her a bottle ,60 bucks (thats a bit pricey).now i wouldnt normally drink gin but this stuff was bloody terrific.i bet the home made stuff is lots better.your a lucky lot.....cheers.

today i bought a bottle of gordons sloe gin ,a bottle of cairngorm brewery sheepshaggers gold premium beer,a bottle of old speckled hen and various other beer from other parts of the world.i also cooked tea (dinner) for my other half ,with mostly produce from my garden and at present am quite cheerful .now tis 7.30 pm here ,not sure if we will make the new year but then ive seen a couple of them before. back to the beers etc ,thought we would have a bit of an english /scottish theme night .i dont usually like gin but shit that sloe gin is nice ,the speckled hen nice but i couldnt drink that

A good friend of mine gave me this recipe ,his wife makes it about six times a year as she has a small sandwich bar and her customers love it .I use it every working day on my lunch /smoko ,have tried other similar relishes and they dont compare .please try it and let me know your opinion.. just do one batch at a time otherwise you dont get the evaporation ,trust me i have tried 2 or 3 batches together ,get yourself a good thick bottom boiler whether it be stainless or the old aluminium, and last good produce makes good produce ,cant make strawberry jam out of shit..

i agree ,kennel three bury one,no matter which combination ,dogs , bitches,all may go well until bitch comes into season ,that season thingy changes dog/humans .sorry girls ,no offence .both areas my experience only.
