    Had a fox hit the net one night,my fault had a rabbit hit the net made a squeal instead of retrive i went greedy as i could see more on the bank, when i got to the net it was bouncing like i had twenty. when i got close it was charlie soon got out and took his supper with him....left me with amess! ask my uncle about what would happen he said "why do they put points on the fibre-glass poles"............

    not been fishing for along time; but found alot of big pike fell to the mighty critter 1oz but that was in summer mate.....

    I got a bull x 3/4 grey 1/4 bullmastiff the reason for him was the ground inwitch i hunt.So if you got the ground to run abullx then get one "hard ground hard dog" im not a novice when it comes to running dogs this is what works for me. "horses for courses" mate...

    im about two miles from ruardean mate lived in the forest all my life.and know most people in the area so i might know your brother or you good hunting around here between me and the family we got most of the ground to.i have been shooting with a bruno .22 blue tip getting kills about 130yards had two foxes and 14 rabbits last time we were out.Also shoot a rapid 7 fac and one standard.do alot of ferreting got two jills ready to drop and one male like an "otter" also a whippetx terrier blue whippet and my nutter bullx.like doing longnetting at night got a 100yard quickset net great fun at night

    from the forest mate..do all kind of pest control got afair bit of land to look after.bringing on a 10 month old bullx want him to get use to the longnets ready for the season my last 100yarder got trashed by my other dogs dear hoby but worth it......

    Iwas told a trick with my whippet.that was when he would retrive the rabbit but wouldnt release let him keep it for 30 seconds put your slip back on then hold the rabbit and carry on looking with the lamp.my dog would release the rabbit becase of next run......worth ago works for me

    I made my own longnet basket a long time ago what i found good was to use the last 4 rings of a fishing keepnet and build your frame around it "sorry no pics".Got two raedy made ones now..........

    check the toes good mate.had the same problem with my bull xborke atoe but we didnt know for a couple of days not much we could do though.......hes ok now. if not down the vets

    horses for corses mate but blue ones work better in fog/mist red for me all the way......

    try giving the ferret a rabbit "let him get used to it" smell taste texture it might involve digging more but if the ferret hasnt been up against a rabbit he wont go deep.the ferret will start look for tea........if you know what i mean.

    have you used a red filter can work better than a white light and you can get into your killing zone better try keeping the light about 5-10 foot infront of your quarry"try shooting sticks"to steady yourself.........

    sounds that the dog is feed well try not to over feed becase lurtchers will eat all day i have a bull x and he will eat anything all the time.......

    Ive got a pure whipet about two and half years now! sh£t hot on rabbits day or night "like you said"blue in colour found the colour nice.against the brindle good dog of the mark can train to pick up sqauters with ease.all round good dogs.....

    nice bullx mate "he looks a cracker" i have a four month bull x looks like he will be the same as the dog. people need to give the dogs a chance "good luck with him".................
